Guys. GUYS. I finally had a Solas dream....

So I work at a truck wash (no I actually do) and in my dream my boss decided to throw a party and so half of the party consisted of my coworkers and the other half were people from DAI. So there were all sorts of desserts there and I'm stuffing my face with cute frilly cakes. And then Solas comes up to the table right as I grab the last frilly cake, and he has the saddest look on his face because I had already eaten half of it, so I decided to share what was left by holding it with my mouth and motioning him to kiss it from me. Kind of like this:

 

 

So he did. For a while. And it made me very happy.  

 

Also Sera was there and she was playing with Barbie mermaids the whole time.

Do you have a pic? How are the sizes? My Cullen tank is ok, a bit wide though.
I had those N7 leggings but they were not really suitable for the outside and of low quality. I think they aren't even sold regularly anymore?

I like my jackets huge so it's an XL but it runs about the same size as the others I have that size. I got two shirts from the store at the same time and both of those seem to be pretty standard sizing as well. These are all men's shirts as apparently they don't make girl shirts I like. By standard I mean snug on the curves and loose in the middle but about the same as a Hanes or comparable quality "unisex" tee.

A skill of Flemeth's, Yavana, Morrigan, and Dalish Keepers, and possibly all ancient elves, and if you reach the "Master Shapeshifter" skill in DAO, you're able to turn into a tainted creature (bereskarn or corrupted spider). But you're able to control the Blight, turn it off once you change form once again and it's no longer necessary.

I really wish mage had been an option for Dalish characters in DAO.  I've used the Dalish Mage Mod but it just never feels right and I can't get into the playthrough.

All right, so... I have a few questions concerning, for the most part, Solas. 

 

My first one has to with the Briala/Celene/Gaspard situation. I believe, if memory serves, that I read somewhere that putting Briala in charge loses approval with Solas. I'm wondering if it's simply putting her in charge all alone (or as the prominent role) that earns this, or if it occurs even if she's put in charge alongside someone. Furthermore, putting the approval effect aside for the moment, I'm curious about the choices you made, and why. I kind of just want to know who's the better pick "good" wise - and I use "good" loosely because I know it's not clear cut black and white with them. They all have their less than admirable qualities. I know a good portion of the impressions they've made came from The Masked Empire. Honestly, I don't care if I'm given spoilers. I'll gladly take them. I just want to know what you all think is the better choice overall, why, and what approval change it will have with Solas. 

 

I should also go ahead and say I'm not asking this so I can make every choice that please him. I fully intend to make my own choices regarding it all. What feels right to me will be what I choose, even if Solas doesn't agree. I can already think of a few off the top of my head where I shall take disapproval hits. e.e One of which being the possibility of allying with the Grey Wardens instead of exiling them. Although, that's still mostly in the undecided box at the moment. It really depends on the details of their machinations. I'll need to see. Anyway, besides. Disagreeing on things just makes their relationship all the more realistic and emotional, I think. I just, you know, don't want to royally anger him and make him hate me.

 

Another question I have, although a tad off topic, ultimately leads back to Solas. Specializations. I'm torn between Rift Mage and Knight Enchanter for my Lavellan. I'm wondering what sort of special interaction, if any, occurs with Solas if you take the Rift Mage path. Frankly, I'm leaning more towards Knight Enchanter because of how bloody cool it sounds. But then I remind myself of the Firestorm spell with Rift Mage, and it's a downwards spiral back to indecisiveness... I just don't know. 

 

My final question concerns the CC... I've been hearing everywhere of the inaccuracy of the CC compared to in-game. I'd like to know what to be wary off. What physical attributes differentiate? I recall reading that for makeup colors, you want to go two notches lighter because it always darkens. Basically, things along those lines that I need to keep in mind. I must have restarted Origins a dozen times before I was satisfied with each of my characters. Dragon Age 2 was a little better, and plus I had the Black Emporium. Thank God. Frankly, I just like to downside my restarts caused by character creation as much as possible... 

 

So, my dear Solasmancers, I would be most appreciative to hear what you have to say. Any information would be wonderful, and I thank you advance. I also hope my questions aren't bothersome. If they are, I'm super sorry.

1. I chose Gaspard to rule alone because Celene is useless and Briala is a twit. I cant answer your specific question because I never put Briala in charge (*shudder*), but I did not get disapproval for putting Gaspard in charge.

2. Solas comments on both specializations, or at least did for me. I have never played Knight Enchanter except as Viv and found it highly useful against dragons. I liked only a few skills on Rift Mage, and never used firestorm. I thought it was underwhelming, but people here seem to like it.

3. It's not as bad as you've probably heard. I ended up completely dialing down lip shine to 0 and it was still shiny. Blush really you only need the second or third click, any more and it's pretty strong. Eye makeup looks good depending on what you're going for. Follow the rule less is more.

Oh, yes. I've heard about that... His reaction makes my heart twinge, but I love it. That, though, is something else I'm conflicted with. I know he claims to have begged Lavellan not to drink from the well, when in fact he doesn't. This tears me. If he was meant to beg you, then I would never be able to resist a begging Solas, and would just let Morrigan drink from it.

I think I'll probably roll with Knight Enchanter, then, because I fully intend to drag Solas with my everywhere. Along with Cole. And I'll probably alternate between Dorian, Varric, and Cassandra. *Grumbles about companion limit.* I get why they do it, and I don't want them to change the limit because of those reasons. But...but... I want to take everybody with me!

As a side comment, I'll probably lecture all three of them in my head. Orlesians... Fascinating, definitely, but still Orlesians... Really, I don't hate them. They just...they're just... Orlesians. I don't think saying anything else but Orlesians would suffice.
