I think I've lucked out; each PT I've found at least one set of the battlemage mail without any kind of farming. I'd like the schematic, though. For optimal pretty. 

I got one once, and it was pink with some pattern that looked like an old sofa.

I make Solas wear the Ancient Elven armor. Like the whole game.

Has anyone else seen this guy up on the battlements? Pretty curious. Especially considering this is fairly early on in my game. I hadn't been at Skyhold for too long. Had only just talked to Hawke for the first time. This is right after talking to Cullen about how he quit lyrium. I walked out of his office using the right side door and walked right into these guys... One of them is apparently an ancient elf.

I think that's a multiplayer character.

I'm trying to find a pic, but failing! I meant the female elf in the garden at Skyhold's outfit, unless I'm remembering what she's wearing incorrectly. Is that the one you mean? I don't know that I've even seen the Inquisitor keeper robes (I play rogues too much), and I can't remember who Mhiris is. Hahaha. I think I need to boot the game.

 

OH! Found a screen of Mhiris. I remember her now. Yeah, not those ones. Though they are still better than the male keeper robes, IMO.

 

Edit: P.S. - Switching the cloth and chainmail in the hunter armour makes a lot more sense. Seriously, that chainmail bodysuit would be AWFUL at conserving heat. And not comfortable at all. But I still think it's pretty.

While I was stalking Dalish keeper, I came across this interesting discussion. Apparently between a traditional elf (the woman) and Andrastian elf about the Temple of Mythal.

While I was stalking Dalish keeper, I came across this interesting discussion. Apparently between a traditional elf (the woman) and Andrastian elf about the Temple of Mythal.

He is totally an ancient elf pretending to be an Andrastian. He is over the top and really bad at it in a "Hello, fellow Andrastians! I don't know anything about a Temple! Our people?!?! Oh, you mean elves, because we're totally elves. Both of us, in that, I am not an ancient elf or anything.  Andraste forever!!" kind of way. At least that is what I like to think.

Feels more like him.  Now FENRIS, Fenris looks damn good in dem robes.  With his giant gauntlets and boots and angry face.  MMF.

Ah, just when I was searching for them on my screenshot folder, but couldn't because I have WAY TOO MANY.

And funny the Andriastian elf is the one wearing Temple of Mythal armor...

But whoever he is, my Inquisitor also wants to steal his armor each time she passes by.

 

Also, is it me or there's NO female version of that armor ever displayed?

I love the fact that these talking NPCs seem to be randomly generated.  So you get things like the Andrastian elf in ancient elven armour.  My favourite is the pair who talk about Crestwood.  One is a young man who lost his father during the Blight and the other is an older priestess.  But in my game the young guy had an old man apperence and the priestess was a young woman.

There is the old, female elf in that armor that acts as your guide in the temple, who I think about a lot. For some reason.

That was me. Haha. I guess in my headcannon all the elves are comically inept at being masters of disguise: my Lavellan, the ancient elf, Solas.

I ended up losing her when I wandered off to find veilfire runes and fight Red Templers.  So towards the end of the quest I had Solas yelling that the elves couldn't hold out much longer and I was just 'no, sweetie, we cleared those rooms.  The elves are standing around reading magazines now.'

Ooooh right! She kept pestering at me cause I was opening all the doors, killing all the templars, looting all the things and reading all the stuff.

Her armor looked very very similar to the male one though, I might need to take a closer look on her, to see if her armor is actually different from other ancient male elves.

You can leave to fight the templars? And they gave runes? What???
