I'll admit, while I do prefer Solas in battlemage mail, I also like the Keeper robes on him. Makes him look a bit more... godly? xD (Let me live the dream.) Though I agree, it doesn't do wonders for his build but I could live with it.

 

With colors, I prefer to make him use the light blue variant (orange is a bit too bright). Plus, for a time, he and my Tala ran around in matching colors.

Ironically, they both got their Dalish armors AFTER the break up (see her missing vallaslin there?). 

 

EDIT: Also, battlemage mail schematic is a ***** to find! I'm still unsuccessful at farming it at Emprise du Lion.

 

I don't know how I missed this on previous play throughs, but I just bought the Inquisition battlemage armor from Seggrit in Haven for Solas. Now I keep getting distracted in battle by the sight of bare skin. *sigh*

Btw, haka are (or were) performed not only before epic rap battles, but also on special occasions such as honouring a guest.

I always picture Dalish elves having these kind of dances (there has been some discussion pages ago about Dalish music and dance) Even ancient elves, perhaps, had intricate and slow dances that could last for days, but I imagine Solas enjoying the more primal dances remaining from the first days of elven existence (sorry I got a bit carried out by my imagination here)

it used to be 4 but I never show up on time and nothing really happens until later at night. Also I sometime walk into a chat with everyone's Mic muted.

Lol sorry, I think that must have been the original intent of the tongueface.

Michel de Chevin O.o When I played it seemed that he about about as tall as my Lavellan, probably because of perspective. That's clearly not the case.

It's ok, I'm busy doing 3D myself. Turns out that I didn't remember **** from my last semester, so I'm writing elaborate notes because current prof's own ebook sucks. 
 
edit: that's neat though. Can't build a snowman, frostbites within 10 minutes. It's currently dangerous to go outside.  see the light purple? I live inside that light purple. mother nature is SCARY.

Just read through like 100 pages. Why does this thread move so fast?

 

This won't be anywhere near on topic, but resurrecting anyway because it got me wondering things.

Lyrium is indeed a bridge. When you drink it, it restores your connection with the fade, increasing mana pools. Red lyrium (and regular) grows, as if to seek something, and is believed to have formed when the world separated from the fade.

 

When you enchant a weapon with the runes, it draws energy from the fade into it. So the idea of lyrium and connecting things is there.

 

This makes me wonder what the heck the Anchor really is since it functions like a bridge as well. I mean, even a dwarf Inquisitor gets the Solas dream sequence and dwarves aren't supposed to be able to dream at all.

 

Also, I really hope there's some future content that makes use of the Inquisitor's ability to dream with such focus. The first thing I wanted to do after Leliana talks about Solas's home village was to travel there and fall asleep to see if there were any memories of his childhood lingering in the fade.

 

Same thing with the Temple of Mythal, maybe dreaming there would reveal more information about ancient Arlathan or even Mythal's betrayal. It just seems like such a great opportunity to dig deeper into elven history with smaller stories that don't necessarily need to tie into the main campaign.
