<--- Native American style Lavellan ^^ I saw the similarities as well (within my very limited knowledge of course)
Totally fits! And I guess mine would be Celtic Brittany style Lavellan. Hence the very pale skin, and redheadness.
But...but...this is the Dalish theme song!
Maybe even tha native americans, i can see the similarites between them and the dalish.
I'm pretty sure they made everything about Felassan as ambiguous as possible to fuel speculation about whether or not he was Solas. I don't think it ever said elderly though, just that he was 'older'. But I could be wrong.
I've never bought into the Solas as Felassan thing. Mhiris, Briala, Celene, and Michel all saw him and didn't react. I also don't think Solas killed Felassan. I think Felassan was one of Fen'harel's agents back in the day (a la Severus Snape), but still tied to whatever Creator held his leash. That creator is trying to get out of its prison and trying to force him to give them the key.
I also don't think Felassan is dead, just wandering the world as a Tranquil now. REALLY hope we get to rescue him some day >.>
*a wild Ary appears and throws art at the thread*
Beautiful. Love the Cassandra one, too! (I bet the Colonel would agree. She's totally got "Come hither" eyes in that picture.)

Yep
I reblogged it too.
I did too until i thout of the native americans. Now i cant shake it lolI always viewed the Dalish culture
Lol,you quoted my half finished sentence(the result of my phone being wonky today apologies for that.)But what I actually meant to say was that I always thought that the Dalish have many similarities with the native Americans as well as the picts.I did too until i thout of the native americans. oooo shes purdy
Ha ha yeah scattered titbits of knowlege, enough to see the clues but not enough to build a solid argument.

I agree! But, I still think they likely set it up that way to get people talking.
Although I would feel super sad if Felassan was tranquil. Being made tranquil really disturbs me. I think I'd almost rather die than go through that process. At least it looks like there may be ways to restore tranquils back to who they originally were in future games.

I most certainly would rather die. Especially with them hinting at templars abusing them. Hell if it was a choice between that and abomination, I'd pick abomination and let them die putting me down.
I support a system of regulation for mages, but not tranquility.
lol I thought that was just a strange way to word it. I wish i knew more about both cultures to compare. What have you found?Lol,you quoted my half finished sentence(the result of my phone being wonky today apologies for that.)But what I actually meant to say was that I always thought that the Dalish have many similarities with the native Americans as well as the picts.
lol their jaw will hit the floor the hardest then!I have two friends that just picked up on the DA series and one of them said that Solas is boring. I cackled so hard, I think I might have given the secret away.

My brother was convinced he was the tutorial character who was going to die at some point. I kept calling for updates, and he'd be like: "Man, they are really letting Jenkins live a long time this game!"

I never thought of him being Tranquil, just dead. That was sad enough. Now I'm
over the idea. I never bought that he was working for Solas. While I can see Fen'Harel killing someone who deserved it he doesn't strike me as being so petty or violently emotional as to have an underling know he'd be killed for a rebellious act that could still be remedied (but only if he lived).

I...must have a filthy brain. I find that hand in concert with that sentiment to be mildly (and quite sexually) threatening. Not necessarily in a bad way, mind you.

Well, technically you can be an ancient god and still boring.

But doesn't Cassandra say in game it's reversible???
I'm sad my IQ did appear to have the chance to order mass reversals...
If we run into tranquil Felassan just wandering around in the woods, my feelings will not be ok.

It is reversible. Asunder deals with this as well. But I'm not sure how feasible mass reversals will be. They are probably going to save that particular dilemma for the next game.

I don't think I actually care for "curing" tranquility. This particular aspect of the mage/Templar issue has touched me emotionally. If they remove it now, the whole issue will become less stressful for me, I guess. It will be reduced to mere facts and less feeling.
In Asunder they say that Pharamond was a wreck just swamped by every emotion. I can't remember if it's in the game or where there was discussion of that being a common problem with reversing Tranquility--that the emotional thermostat seemed to be completely out of commission. Maybe that's a temporary problem until the internal pressure equalizes, so to speak, but I'm not convinced curing it is as easy as Solas calling a spirit to tap a Tranquil on the head.
Edit for typing fail.
The picts were the inhabitants of eastern and northern Scotland(where I currently live) during the late Iron age.Their original name is unknown since their language didn't survive but they were named "Picts" by the Romans which means "painted" or tattooed ones. They were said to use guerilla tactics and know how to take advantage of the Scottish landscape and climate, making it extremely difficult for the Romans to defeat them. There are also records of a legion that disappeared in that area.lol I thought that was just a strange way to word it.
