All of this discussion of fan art made me remember the picture I drew in my human development class today (instead of listening to my fellow classmates presentations on teratogens) it's a Solas.

Not a very good one, but decent I guess in comparison to what I'm actually capable of (ie: not much). I keep telling myself that one day I'm actually going to learn how to draw, but it hasn't happened yet. Spoilered for size.

I have to admit, I like my style, but I would like to refine it more. As long as I've actually been drawing, though, you would think I would be better at it, but I feel like I plateaued around age 16. I want to take some actual art classes at some point, but right now, with my Physical Therapy classes plus job and child, I feel like I really don't have the time. Maybe once I graduate (only 2 years left!) I can take some actual 'me time' classes.

I think Solas would approve. He likes it when people choose to educate themselves. And art.

 

Hullo, if you want, there's a Beginner drawing group in BSN (link in my signature). We're mostly Cullenites but there are also non-Cullenites & it's really an open group. Please don't hesitate to join if ever you want, the goal's to make everyone progress & share tips etc. There are several intermediate level people that help around, or we mostly comment on each other's drawings
