I really need a DLC and soon. I don't think I can wait for the next Dragon Age game to answer all of my questions. This is torture!

 

 

I'm somehow convinced that Gaider is the Nightmare, feeding off of the angst and tears of his fanbase.

I regularly feed rats to my 5 ft long Columbian Boa. People always tell me how cruel and gruesome it is, yeah, yeah, yeah. I felt bad at first, but now it doesn't phase me at all. It's awesome watching Hannibal (that's his name) strike at lightning speed and wrap around them and slowly asphyxiate them. 

 

I sound like a psycho, but it's just the circle of life.

Hang on, is it not illegal to feed live animals to other animals where you're from? AFAIK it is in the UK at least.

The worst part is, when Hannibal gets bigger, and rats become too small to sustain him, I have to feed him rabbits, and eventually piglets. But since I'm not a COMPLETE psycho, I will most likely feed him those frozen. Or I will probably sell him at that point since he will become too big to handle by myself.

I have been struggling with this, among other things, as well. Do we chalk it up to just another bad decision? He doesn't offer Flemythal any explanation except that he was too weak to unlock it after his slumber.

The kicker is - any DLC that comes out first goes to the X-box for an indeterminate amount of time before being released on other platforms.  I hate exclusives.  Whenever I think of them they make me want to do a Cassandra kick through the TV. 

 

My thoughts on Solas giving up the orb - I think he felt a very powerful mage but Cory was parading around as either Larius/Janeka.  We know from Dorian that Tevinter magisters could use the orbs.  Solas probably - and unwisely - thought that any powerful mage could unlock the orb for him but couldn't actually use it.  He seems geniunely surprised when he finds out that Corypheus is able to access all that power in the orb.  My understanding is the orb is HIS power or Mythal's...whatever...it's like a battery.  So I think it was a "hasty" decision, likely not terribly thought out.  It seems it was done in a bit of desperation.

the rats aren't too bad. $6 for a rat every other week. Eventually it will get more expensive the bigger he gets...

It's legal in the U.S. as well. We had a snake in a science class and we'd feed it live mice.  It's natural.  Better for the snake. They prefer live bait.  I'm not saying I hate mice/rats. My roomie had one in college.  Mr. Brain! He was sooo sweet.

I'm not too sure. Cobras are different than Boas though...and it's not safe to handle a boa by yourself when they get too big, so eventually I'll have to get rid of him. But for now he's my cuddle buddy when watching movies and doing art stuff. He's super gentle and just sits on my shoulders.

I love snakes, they are so beautiful ..but I couldn't own one.  I just..couldn't bring myself to feed them..even frozen mice or rabbits.  I used to have a Tarantula (well, my dad did) and we feed it crickets. I even felt bad for those things and I don't like crickets.  I'm such a softy. I can't even kill spiders that I find in my house anymore..and I REALLY hate spiders. I didn't used to be this way..I wonder what happened...

That's the thing. I don't really understand the timeline. From what I can glean - the gods were gone long before...or somewhat before...Tevinter really came into power.  By the time they sacked the empire, the elves had already starting eating themselves from within. My feeling is that the disparate cults were just warring with eachother and without their respective god-kings to do anything, they just crumbled. I have a feeling that Solas was asleep during all of this, but this is pure speculation.  It would be a bit sadder if he was awake, powerless to stop it and just watched his whole world go up in flames.

Just the first SP DLC is Xbone exclusive. So...if we get something else first, we're good.

He's a terrible eater. Eats very rarely (maybe once a month)and will refuse to eat if he's been recently handled. If we try to feed him more he's like NOPE. But vet says he's healthy so who knows. Damn snobby snake.

I have a history of animal rights so I tend to keep my mouth shut about animal related stuff in general

I love all animals, spiders nope, scorpions nope... could never hurt them though. The last time I accidentally killed a spider I cried for 2 days afterwards.... that was a strange time o.O
