I get upset about seeing dead bees too. ;_; They're our bros!
I love bees.
Wasps and hornets need to die. I kill them all the time.
I'm actually at the point of wanting to replay, with the original ending.
I am replaying all three games, currently almost done with ME2^^ First time I have all the DLC. Damn, Shadow Broker is GOOD. Can't wait to start ME3. Best combat in the series by far. I too prefer the original ending. Never had that much of an issue with it. Still my favorite games ever.
... what was that about a DLC for Inquisition? *g* Is that a rumor or confirmed? I'm totally out of the loop!
No rumors, but DLC is definitely coming. Seems like the writers are working on something, but I am guessing that would be for another DLC.
Meh..the ME3 ending didn't really bother me..yeah it sucked...but few things in video games really upset me. I still love the games and I've played all 3 of them soooo many times. I will, however get very pissed off if they mess up Solas in someway. I don't even care if he ends up evil as long as I don't have to kill him...if it's an option like it was with Anders and Loghain ..I'll be fine with it.
Yeah. That's how I felt about it - even before the EC. I actually always pick the green option - womp. EDI/Joker are my ME OTP. I struggle to have aneurysms over games. I let other people do the raging for me. Even if the eff up Solas, I'll be bummed, but it'll just be like "LAME". I'll let y'all on here rage it out and try to get it fixed.
About bees - I
bees. I try to support the local honey farms as much as possible. I would love love love a bee hive, but they are very illegal in the city. But maybe my bf will suprise me and build me one on the roof of our townhouse:

It's confirmed they are working on something. What, we don't know. I have a feeling it's already been written - or was in the lead up to release. Or at the very least mapped out because they have to schedule the actors for time in the booth. Budget approvals. Animation. Programming. QA. It's likely been well under way for some time.

I approve of all of this
Funnily enough, as much as I've played with bees, I've yet to be stung by anything. Wasps, hornets, bees, nothing. The name is fitting tbh.

I want to replay them but that means ME1, and the combat, and the Mako, and not boinking anyone because the sex scenes are weird, and I'm a goddamn completionist! And I played ME2 to death, I know the lines up to meeting Illusive Man by heart, (although saying that I know the lines up to closing the first rift in DAI too, but only because of the goddamn character creation screen!), I just want to play ME3, it's the most fun and Garrus looks so damn awesome. ;_; Also, Javik is my bro.
Since I've been off-topic for too long... Erm... Solas! Phew!

You're so getting my likes for Pushing Daisies!
And YES. I would love to have a bee hive in our garden! But of course it's not allowed... ![]()

After playing ME3 extensively, I've realized how very static and boring ME2 combat is. And I used to LOVE that game to death too. ME1 is the best one overall, but ME3 is the most fun.
I'm totally on topic: SOLAS! Solas is awesome and sexy. Hail to our god!

A hive of bumblebees (not the big fat ones, a different kind) moved into the ventilation grid in our spare bedroom last summer. Until we worked out where they were coming from, we'd wake up to find about 30+ dead bees all over the house by mid afternoon, and the kitchen was off limits for all the bees buzzing angrily in there. We blocked up the grid in the spare bedroom and patched a hole in the kitchen, and they stopped coming in.
So... we basically have our own hive... Sure it's technically an infestation, but since it's illegal to kill them and no beekeeper nearby is insured to go up a ladder to retrieve the hive, we're stuck with them... So I guess that's nice...

Ah OK. I thought there were details by now. I'm good then. I hope it's a relevant story DLC, otherwise I'm not buying.

So if Lavellan found out he was one of her gods and knelt to worship Solas, would he want her to get back up? Hmmmmm...
I love bees. It is so unfortunate what is happening to them. Part of it is actually due to the honey industry. They have long been using the same bees to create new hives etc instead of going further afield or attracting them naturally. The GMO crops that are resistant to roundup are one of the biggest culprits as are industrial farmers who spray and don't think twice about the consequences and the havoc it causes, wildlife, rivers and insects.
The other thing they do that is lesser known which has been killing off bee populations is that some beekeepers have hives that they put on trucks and travel around with them to help pollinate crops in different areas. There have been studies that show that, even on GMO crops, bees in traveling hives are much more likely to die than bees in a hive that stays in one location. It's terrible. So if Lavellan found out he was one of her gods and knelt to worship Solas, would he want her to get back up? Hmmmmm...

Yes. He doesn't really view himself/elven pantheon as worthy of being worshipped. I also don't think lavellan would...or at least mine wouldn't. She'd probably laugh at him if he expected it. He knows her by now. She's not religious. She's deferent when expected to be(so royalty), but like...barely. My girl has a bit of an ego. But let's just call her REALLY confident.

Yup, our pollinators, we NEED them!

Oh my! ![]()
The most exciting thing we ever had was a hornet building a nest in our garage. I was totally thrilled, lol. But man, that thing got angry when I wanted to get my bike! Sprayed some kind of liquid at me... then one day it was dead on the floor
The nest was only the size of a small coffee cup. Looked cool. I kept it.
Btw, supposedly hornets are not very aggressive. Normally, when you're not close to their nest. But I admit, they scare me a bit...

Reminding me of The Shining so much right now. Stop it!
Have patience, Solas, we'll be back to talkin' 'bout yo booty soon!
Absolutely beautiful, Kappa Neko. Another song to add to what I listen to when drawing.
I'll add a few:
Torukia - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST (Modern, but I imagine an epic fight scene with dialogue when listening to this)
Spoiler
Enigma - Veigar Margeirsson (Someone mentioned Quizzy dancing earlier, this is what I imagine playing)
Spoiler
Mehr Als Alles Andere - Bersarin Quartett (Amazing violin at 1:05?)
Spoiler
Richat - Mark Petrie (I listen to this and imagine the team fighting dragons)
Spoiler
Sasgisu Shiro - The Last Day [Scene #156] [Casshern OST] (THIS ONE IS LONG AND SAD AND USUALLY MAKES ME CRY. But worth it.)
Spoiler
Glad you like it ![]()
And thanks for your suggestions. Super like Enigma! I know Veigar (being an epic music addict) but not that particular track. I adore some of Mark Petrie's stuff. The Bersarin Quartett one is an interesting mix. Man, I gotta catch up with my YT channels...
Hey, it's not bees this time...

I LOVE BEES , TOO.
I love them.
I have a bee dress; I call it my Nic Cage dress.
Spoiler
Bees.
Awww love the dress!!!
Giton was thinking on the same terms as me. I ummmm ahem meant something else completely about Lavellan being on her knees.
Non-sexy worship is forever off the table as far as my Inquisitor goes. She will not be able to take the Dread Wolf 100% seriously after knowing this is still the same guy who threw a fit over tea. The mystery is over. She's seen too much.

I think he'd be kind of horrified TBH if anyone tried to worship him, let alone Lavellan. Mine wouldn't. Between Corypheus and Mythal and all the Herald of Andraste malarkey, she's pretty much over the whole "god" thing.

Imagery of bees and honeycomb are pretty potent erotic signifiers in a lot of poetry. So . . . not too off-topic.
Come slowly, Eden
Emily Dickinson
Come slowly—Eden
Lips unused to thee—
Bashful—sip thy jasmines—
As the fainting bee—
Reaching late his flower,
Round her chamber hums—
Counts his nectars—alights—
And is lost in balms!
