Thanks for your input, guys! That actually really helps. I'm going to have to play some of my game footage back to get a more detailed sense of when she started to suspect, but at least now I have a good idea of where to start... Because playing back my entire game would have taken far too long for just a couple sentences of dialogue.

It just kinda makes me sad thinking that Abellas and co. have dedicated their entire lives to protecting, what they think is, the remnants of Mythal, when in reality she is alive and well and doesn't care about them too much.

I have - obviously - so many Abelas feels. That emo-scene at the well...ugh.  Also the music didn't help.  What's worse is that he knows how futile it is.  He knows that everytime they wake up more of his brothers/sisters in arms are going to die and how lost their cause is.

My Lavellan started to get an inkling after Halamshiral, specifically his little slip when he talks about court intrigue, then the weird conversation about the elves not being "his people."  As a player, I wish we'd gotten the opportunity to question him, but as a character I can see her holding her tongue.  She's got a million things on her plate, and she knows Solas has trouble opening up to people.  I think my Lavellan just figured he'd tell her the truth when he was ready.

THAT WORKED OUT GREAT DIDN'T IT.  STUPID EGGHEAD  <_<

Seriously, if they do cross paths again, she's going to take the "yell at idiot god" approach since being patient and kind clearly didn't work out for her.

I knew something was off when you do his firt personal quest. He tells Mihiris that hes only read about veilfire, has never seen it.http://i.imgur.com/KTW5poA.gif

Even if I don't really ship Abelas and Lavellan, I want them to at least be friends.  Or be able to give him hugs.  Getting right up close and personal with those glorious thighs is...a side benefit

That dialogue actually varies.  You get Solas's "I have heard of this but never seen it" line about veilfire the first time you encounter it in-game.  It's not unique to Solas's personal quest or Mhiris, though that IS where most players would first encounter the veilfire AND have Solas in tow.

I agree. I was pretty compromised at that point.  Probably because I just wanted to give him the biggest hug ever.  He would have probably just pried my Lavellan off and been like 'ewww, shem!".

That scene and the Leiliana scene in Redcliffe...I was sort of emotional.  What Solas ACTUALLY tells hims "Your story is within you". Omg.  *weeps*.

My point still stands. Hes still fibbing, albeit a unnecessary lie, to hide something.

Non-sexy worship is forever off the table as far as my Inquisitor goes. She will not be able to take the Dread Wolf 100% seriously after knowing this is still the same guy who threw a fit over tea. The mystery is over. She's seen too much.

I will never get over the fact that the Dread Wolf is actually closer in temperament to Grumpy Cat. If he ever shows up with the concept art hair, my Lavellan will just lose it and laugh hysterically.

Fenara:"The DREAD Wolf? Eh? EH???"

Solas:*facepalm*"Congratulations, Vhenan. You have lived down to my expectations."

*raises hand* But don't you discover that part before Haven's destruction? Anyway, if you're a Mage, you know how to play with it immediately too, or any other Mage teammate (although I doubt many find their first Veilfire after recruiting another mage). x) He could still be lying but I didn't count that amongst the suspicious actions of our Solas.

Edit because I can't spell.

If my Lavellan shared my sense of humor, she'd be kicked out of the Inquisition for punning everything. As it is, she's just sarcastic. xD

There is. It's called the "Ardent Blossom". :)

If you're on a PC there's a way to do it via Cheat Engine: http://prismavore.tu...er-crown-helmet

Is there any way to get it without cheating?  I don't really want to use Cheat Engine but I really, really need that crown.

I think it's his continual use of "I saw it in the Fade" and "I sense the artifact of my people" is what really sealed it for me.  There's the one hilariously inept cover up he has in Emerald Graves if you have Blackwall in the party.

Solas: I have not been in here in some time. it has changed so drastically.

Blackwall: What are you talking about? I was here 30 years ago and it hasn't changed at all.

Solas: Uh...teh Fade

"I saw it in the Fade" is on the same level of "My boyfriend goes to another school. You wouldn't know him" in terms of thin excuses.

My point is WHY lie unless you have something to hide? If every mage can automatically interact with it its more of a big deal to fib. Fact is people were staiting when theier lavellan would susspect something fishy about Solas. Well my lavellan found that small lie curious.

Ha, mine too. There was some speculation about the Inquisitor ascending to godhood in some way a while back, and all I could think about is that Fenara could only be the Goddess of Bullshit and Snark.

Okay, I don't know if this has been discussed before, but when Abellas tells you that Fen'Harel didn't kill Mythal, would that mean that he was alive during the Elven Pantheon, and if so wouldn't he recognize Solas as Fen'Harel?

And if not does that mean that Fen'Harel could be possessing a body sort of like Mythal?

He might not recognize Solas.  It's been thousands of years, and Solas is without his orb and a lot of the trappings one might expect from a god.  Abelas also says something about how each time they awaken, more of their memories of the past slip away.  He might remember what Fen'Harel did, but not what he looks like.

My personal headcanon is that he does recognize the Dread Wolf (hence him instantly exonerating Fen'Harel of Mythal's murder) but just doesn't say anything.  Either because there are shemlen about, or he assumes the party already knew.  But that's just me.  For teh dramaz  :D

I'm pretty sure he does recognize him based on the question, "Elvehn such as you?"

For me it was after meeting Flemeth and her saying she is not the only one carrying an old soul around. The elvhen remark had also bothered me as did Solas feeling the need to explain what he said to Abelas when no one asked. He looked guilty LoL. It was adorable. What is it? A sheep in wolf's clothing or some nonsense like that. But excellent question. Of course it saddens me to think that he didn't seem to consider Lavellan might figure it out or maybe he hoped she would in time. Hmmm plot bunnies. :D

I think Flemeth is talking about Keiran at that point. She never sees Solas in game until it's all over. I'm in the camp that believes Solas is Fen'Harel, not that Solas is carrying Fen'Harel's soul. She recognizes him. Abelas recognizes him.

There are many times I wanted my Lavellan to be able to question Solas on things that he said/were said to him, but alas.
