Damn right. I wish I could be a cool, collected fan like some of the others here (you know who you are). I wish I could be like, "Yeah, I like Solas, on a weekend," but deep down I know I'm a squealing fangirl in denial, a squishy puddle that d'awwww's and nnnnnnnngh's at every romantic bit Solas is in. ;_;

In terms of what's seen in-game, the second kiss is my favorite. You can literally see the moment when he decides to throw caution to the winds and wraps her in his arms like he never wants to let go.

I love the last kiss, but...well...it's the last one. And then I take a dive right back into the feels hellspiral.

I really want someone to post a flycam vid of his face when he is turned away from her. I've been analyzing his face a lot (because my brain makes me really bad at reading people, so it has been helping me a lot to be able to understand his rationale) but so far I have not been able to find one for the second kiss. And we don't talk much about it in here, so I've been curious about what his brain cogs could possibly be doing during this time. Seeing his facial expressions would help. Has been helping. A lot.

 I have read, though, that feeding live, adult rats can be dangerous to the snake, as rats will often fight when scared, and can do some serious damage. Do you feed your snake babies? I'm not super informed on the topic, but am curious. I've read feeding already dead rodents is the way to go, but evidently some snakes won't eat them unless they're alive?

 

 

It's not dangerous if you feed them the right size. Giving rats that are too big for the snake is dangerous. Other than that it is completely natural and anyone who says other wise is...well...nvm.  My snake won't eat thawed food.

Hnnnngh those babies are so. cute

I live with my partner's family and they won't have them in the house. ;_; I can't wait to move out with my partner so I can start having them again. Since my dogs died I've grown allergic to almost every breed I've come across, and I was always allergic to cats so... rats it is!

It would be an unwanted companion animal: an owl. Because Falon'Din is watching Solas from his throne in Debauched Disco Dystopia and biding his time.

 

 

Confession: Because of my very specific, totally realistic headcannon, I now have a very real and present feelings for Falon'Din and Dirthamen. Would do. Sorry, not sorry.

Pro-tip: slow the playback speed down to 0.5. You can click play for double the amount of time before your finger gets fatigued and obsessively analyze each tiny, sexy motion in greater detail. Win/win.

 

 

 

YAYAYA RATS! I really miss having rats. I had quite the set-up, too. As it stands now, my cat is so predatory, I'd be worried to adopt any at this point. My old kitty cat (a.k.a, Best Cat Ever--passed away in 2011, sniff) was totally chill with them, even in his younger years. I miss that fluffy orange butthead so much.

 

 

This is why I couldn't have snakes myself, though I really like them. I have too much history with and love for teh rattiez and other rodents to feed them to another animal myself, though I hold no ill feelings to anyone who does. It makes me a bit sad, but such is the way of nature (hey, I feed my cat ground up cows, chicken and turkeys that I purchase in the non-offensive form of tinned mush, so...). Awwww! Rat babies are so cuuute I've had pet rats for most of my life (can't now cause the bf is a cat person) and they were all so smart and trainable.

 

On Topic: While Solas himself exhibits some cat-like traits, I can't see him having the patience for a pet cat (they can be fluffy A-holes)

The vallaslin look really cool to begin with.
My first Lavellan kept them,but my canon one removed them because she abhors slavery and everything that might be associated with it.

Yep, couldn't agree more, plus Solas tells you that you're perfect just the way you are if you keep them. That's gold right there. Mostly because my husband is an "improver". *sigh*

My boyfriend and I have actually had conversations about how we'd teach our kids reading and math through playing D&D with them.  I think a while ago the Penny Arcade guys posted simplified character sheet templates for young children, and we both squeed like maniacs.  Obviously I would love any potential children regardless of their interests (though I'd have no idea what to do with a jock kid), but being able to play games with them is something I'd love.

Sure! I am on my phone at the moment so I can't check if this icon is real size or 200x200. I think it is the 200x200 version. Essentially you make the icon in Photoshop (or your chosen image editor.) Make it roughly the size and ratio it will end up being. Save as a high quality png.

If that still looks blurry, make your icon the exact size that it appears in the forum. Can't remember how many pixels across it is, but you can save one and it should come out the right size. Then do the same as before- upload as png. It will stretch on your profile page, but be exact ratio when uploaded.

If you still have problems, feel free to pm me the image you want uploaded! When I get back home I'd be happy to make an icon.
