But its on the texture! Unless he has the worst case of blackheads.

Then its on his concept art.

Maybe they changed their mind as far as the facial hair rules, but it seems like it was intended to be stubble to me.

Well isn't Chee the one who did the dialogue about elves having beards that she then had to go back and get rid of because she asked Gaider? I took that to mean they don't have beards but I don't think that has to apply to stubble. lol.

I refuse to believe Fenris doesn't have stubble. I mean, you can clearly see it. What is it supposed to be if not stubble?

I just imagine elves don't have a lot of facial hair on average.

http://forum.bioware...s-have-stubble/

Gaider's said before that Fenris doesn't have facial hair.  I've seen him explain it elsewhere as just the skin textures.

And I have to admit, on Solas it always just looked like really dry skin to me.

You people are talking nonsense. Falon'din and Dirthamen are clearly platonic brothers, and that GIF is a disgrace against lore and the memory of Arlathan.

They're just bros.

Like Alexander and Hephaestion. Or Achilles and Patroclus. Oda Nobunaga and Mori Ranmaru. Hadrian and Antinous. Need I go on?

I see what you did there.

(Hephaestion was better looking. Also declared a God.)

Whatever are you talking about?

Hephaestion is always better looking.  Antinous was also declared a god, I believe.

Paths to Apotheosis:

A) Create halla and monsters.

B) Walk into the Black City, come back a thousand years later.

C) Be an Emperor's lover.

But Hadrian is still the best. B)

EDIT: I also run out of likes for art I like. :(

Falon'Din and Dirthamen's relationship was stated not to be romantic in nature, so I can't really get onboard that idea.  Prior to DA:I, I did wonder... :P

Another Solas sketch! Good grief. Look at what you people have done to me. I've started arting and now, apparently, I can't stop. Thanks. :D

Spoiler

Here's the source image I used, a beautifully taken screenshot. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to find the original? How do I do that so I can properly credit it?

@RebbyWriter: I have no idea why Solas is suddenly so happy about tea, but it's hilarious!

Spoiler

Well my Hawke romanced Anders so "Bye-bye Hawke!"

TBH I felt more bad for Varric than Hawke or Anders. I'll aways give that dwarf a hug. :(

Edit: And even if I did romance Fenris (even though that'll be highly unlikely) I'd still leave Hawke behind because there is no way in hell that I'll leave my Alistair behind in the Fade! (And because I care more for my DA:O crew than the DA2 crew.)

So if that makes me or anyone else who chooses to leave Hawke in the Fade a "monster" so be it.  <_<

So.... what? I have to sacrifice my HoF romanced Warden Alistair instead? I am really in a no-win situation here.

Unless I just... don't finish my canon playthrough. I'm sure that will work...

hiraeth
—  (hɨraɪ̯θ), noun | A Welsh, untranslatable feeling, hiraeth is loosely described as a homesickness for a home you cannot return to anymore or a place, which never even existed. Connotations of sadness, yearning, profound nostalgia, and wistfulness are imbued into the state of hiraeth. Overall this beautiful, but painful longing is a an expression of an empty desire and grief over a past life or place. It is the ultimate signifier of a bond, which has ceased to exist.  (via wordsnquotes)

Why am I out of likes?? This is the word we've all been looking for! I'll be in the blanket fort with Satsumi.

So.....

I guess Sheryl Chee said that DA elves don't have facial hair? (sorry if im late. I just found this out!)

Do you guys think that I should take the bearded stubble off of my Falon'Din should I just say "eff Gaider and his lame ideas about...you know...the stuff he writes about."??

Also, doesn't Solas have stubble when you zoom in on him or no? *Im so confused right now. I don't even*

Yes, yes he does....but the only time I've ever seen it is when he takes you to the fade-Haven and you're in the cells.

Really?

Yup...

The little we understand implies their bond was not romantic, beyond even the strongest friendship. The legends of Dirthamen and Falon’Din may have been an allegory for complex elven relationships we lack context to comprehend.
