Well my Hawke romanced Anders so "Bye-bye Hawke!" 

 

TBH I felt more bad for Varric than Hawke or Anders. I'll aways give that dwarf a hug.

 

Edit: And even if I did romance Fenris (even though that'll be highly unlikely) I'd still leave Hawke behind because there is no way in hell that I'll leave my Alistair behind in the Fade! (And because I care more for my DA:O crew than the DA2 crew.)

 

So if that makes me or anyone else who chooses to leave Hawke in the Fade a monster so be it.

I always leave Hawke :3  I left Alistair behind one time... but I had to redo it!  I just couldn't!

 

When I had Stroud as my Warden in my Trev playthrough, I felt so bad leaving him in the Fade. And I didn't know that Varric also makes a sad speech about him too. I was honestly very tempted to leave my male Hawke in the Fade too, just because I can't stand DAI Hawke in general, but I wanted to have something different from my Lavellan playthrough. 

 

 

And does anyone else wish we could've had Lavellan comment on Solas' art skills?  I literally had no clue he was painting on the walls until after I finished the game and saw ppl talking about it lol

 

Yes, I wish we were able to talk to Solas about his art! Totally a missed opportunity from Bioware!   I think I noticed that he was the one who painted the walls when I was halfway through the game and noticed that the walls were starting to look less and less blank. xD

My first playthrough, I said "NOOOO WAY IS HAWKE DYING! THAT'S MY GIRL! I COULD NEVER LEAVE HER TO DIE. GOODBYE STRANGE MUSTACHE MAN I HAVE NO EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT TO."

but then

my stupid inner Despair Demon reared it's head

and I thought about it for like 5 hours and then got angry and now I think I have to leave her in the Fade for Maximum Tragedy Power (though since they say "may" die, if she survives the fade somehow then all my choices will be validated and she'll just be Even More Messed Up, if still alive)

He might not recognize Solas.  It's been thousands of years, and Solas is without his orb and a lot of the trappings one might expect from a god.

Oh, my Hawke was DEFINITELY waaay messed up. Watching her family die around her, slowly building up the city even though her life was falling apart just to play an unwitting part in its destruction and have to watch it fall, and then having to LEAVE, and her self-sacrifical nature...

 

So I DEFINITELY want her to survive long enough to become a bitter villain that's like A DREAM COME TRUE TO BE HONEST. If she can't go out in a blaze of glory SHE WILL DIE WITH ANGRY VENGEANCE, TAKEN OUT BY PROBABLY ANOTHER OF MY CHARACTERS 

 

I don't know when exactly I became the vessel for a despair demon but I'm apparently stuck this way now

I think that is also partially the reason why I'm not so broken up over leaving Hawke in the Fade. Her life is just one big mess after another. Even after I first ended DA2, I never expected her to have a happy ending in the long run so when that big decision had to made during Here Lies The Abyss, I was thinking, "I knew it. This is it. This is how her life will end." (She might be alive, but I'm gonna assume she's dead until future games arrive and tell us, "Hey! Hawke/Warden friend is alive all along!".)

 

I don't hate Hawke. It's just that between her, my Warden, and my Inquisitor, I liked Hawke the least.
