I don't hate Hawke. It's just that between her, my Warden, and my Inquisitor, I liked Hawke the least.
I love all three of my protagonists to bits, but like you, I never saw a happy ending for my Hawke. Even if the game had just left it up to headcanon, the mage-templar war was probably going to claim her life. She was too invested to not get involved, and too damaged to ever find peace.

I'd noticed that as well, but wondered if it was more a stylistic thing, as the rest of the anatomy seems pretty spot on. I love the throne and shading in particular.
I refuse to believe Fenris doesn't have stubble. I mean, you can clearly see it. What is it supposed to be if not stubble?

No regrets. Well, okay this tugged at my heart-strings. ._. But ultimately, Alistair x Mahariel > Hawke x Fenris. Therefore, no lasting regrets.

And does anyone else wish we could've had Lavellan comment on Solas' art skills? I literally had no clue he was painting on the walls until after I finished the game and saw ppl talking about it lol
YES. Ugh. It makes me crazy, because I cannot imagine my Lavellan failing to comment on something like that.
I actually had the opposite issue; I climbed the scaffolding in the rotunda and read the codex about Solas' painting before he had even painted anything on the walls. lol. I was like, hmm, yeah I guess the walls are... nice? *raises brow at fairly uniform looking taupe plaster*
It made a lot more sense a few quests later.

(though after spending all game ensuring my warden would have the happiest ending the game could achieve, my headcanon warden has a break down slowly going crazy as the taint spreads and despite her efforts to keep zevran safe he follows her to the deep roads & dies in battle at her side and then she abominates herself in grief and has to be killed by the other wardens/dwarves WHOOPS. Thooouuugh now that they seem like they're bringing the Warden back with these hints in DAI that will probably have to change)
