Is this not doing exactly what you just accused me of? I didn't think it was too harsh at the time, but hind sight is 20/20 isn't it? Ave commented about it and it looked to me like she recognized it for the jest I meant it to be, so I went with it, but after Liz herself never commented, I figured I must have gone too far. And I did apologize. Twice now. I never said I was a psychologist, what I said was that was where my education mostly lies. I also did not mean to imply that I was excusing my behavior.
But now Liz and I have discussed it, and I don't feel like it should be my obligation to explain myself or apologize to anyone else.
That being said, I am glad that there are so many people willing to stand up for her.

lol, fun fact? Liz dialed it waaaay back. As creepy as creeper Solas was, he was going to be a ton creepier until Liz toned it down. (the rest of us are wicked maleficars with no conscience)

It's not about creeper Solas. Its about people not liking that Liz talks about Abelas and/or other people in a more positive light than Solas In his thread. And that is petty x10. Imagine if we restricted everyone to all solas all the time. But it had to always be 100% positive conversation. We can not mention anything negative about him.
In the same vein we should restrict all art featuring solas and anyone except a lavellan. No more fanfic that features anyone except Solas. No more conversations about the elven pantheon unless including Solas. Anyone who wishes to express any feelings towards any other character is free to do so in their particular threads.
I should make a list of rules in chart form.

I post in both threads and I try to understand the dynamic between the characters. I also tell it how it is with Solas. He does not poop daisies (though it would be funny if elves did) things he does do stink some times! He isn't perfect and damn it I will point out his flaws! But only because that is what makes him a great character. He has many dimensions. Abelas has a nicer ass and thighs. Why must it be exclusive. Don't do this to me people!

Regarding the dramz -
The gchat is definitely open for all - we always welcome more people! Meer and I have been playing and streaming TOR and sharing our love of Vector Hyllus(ELECTRRRIC AURA) and prissy Quinn(I HAS A SUNBURN). We also stream and mock weird visual novels. Always looking for suggestions! There is also discussion of theories and watching Liz, Carrie, Nikki create amazing art and just general whatever!
I get that this stuff is not everybody's cup of tea and it's a lot of "in-jokes". We all love Solas though and none of it is borne out of revenge. We're all sort of in a holding pattern while we wait for DLC to come out. We wouldn't have the art chat, funnies, and still be talking about the game if we didn't like his character! I personally think the jokes are seriously tame and just goofy though....so you know...stop reporting fun?

Ultimately, I think we just need slightly less hostility all around. This is not really that angry of a place. Something, whether it was a misunderstanding or not, has become a hate spiral.
The best thing to do is not to perpetuate it. Calm down on reporting posts, lurker folks. Don't harass mods for things that don't need to be moderated. Art/humor folks, just provide a little context to what you're doing, so people don't feel like they are the butt of a joke.

Hm. There's one really weird thing though. Not a single piece of Carrie or Liz's art is directed at a person. Rabbitonfire did a picture of Cole in a bikini and nobody reported it. There was also a pic of Samson in a bikini with a Cullen waifu pillow and no protest. So why is it that the censor bat comes for the art poking fun at Solas?

I legitimately love this thread and I've met amazing, amazing people. 11/10 would choose to come back here again.
So let's be cool with varying opinions. Widely different head canons. Satire. Comedy. We don't have to agree or see eye to eye for our differing feelings and thoughts to be valid.
