Tyrion, Arya, Sansa, Brienne, Margaery.
I guess I'm very basic in the people I support. #SupportUnderdogs2K15
I kind of want to support Daenerys, but it's a mixed feeling with wanting her to burn in hell as well.
Stannis will see to that ![]()

Sansa! Well, the "new" Sansa. This is probably unrelated, but who do all you asoiaf/GoT fans support? I'm a Stannis fan
Gaspard isn't even married is he? He hangs around with other chevaliers rather a lot...
He was married, but I think Celene's dad assassinated his wife because she had his wife assassinated.
Orlasians.
Also, women used to gather phalli as a source of power. Much like elfroot. Or Flemeth's chicken:
I love that Flemeth is the sort of character who might actually say that, and sound incredibly mysterious and insightful while doing so.
This is probably unrelated, but who do all you asoiaf/GoT fans support? I'm a Stannis fan
I ... like Stannis, but I think he'd make a terrible ruler on the Iron Throne (too divisive/too many people are terrified of him and will resist to the death/Melisandreiscray).
Personally, I think Tyrion has a reasonable chance at being the ruler at the end (going to put under spoilers to be safe)
I definitely have short meta somewhere on my tumblr about this that is much better written than this is, but those are the general ideas, I believe~ (I also think the Iron Throne is doomed to melt down in dragon fire because it is the world's ugliest chair ever and destroying the IT brings full cycle to Dany's character arc about destroying the symbols of oppression and discovering the truth of her Targaryen heritage)
He was married, but I think Celene's dad assassinated his wife because she had his wife assassinated.

Loghain tried to warn us... but did we listen?
I really don't think people were being crucified. That's a bit extreme.
People here, by and large, are pretty reasonable. If there is a dissenting opinion and it is brought up reasonably, I think the reaction is, in turn, Vulcan-like and reasonable.
I think people need to calm down. Nothing really justified reporting. Or censorship.
I would much rather have people with varied opinions than a monolithic thread. And it's how people are delivering their concerns. Mims offered up a good point, a point that, in turn, was taken in good faith. Which I think is indicative of how things can be handled without recourse to moderation.
Stannis will see to that
As long as he gives me her wardrobe before. But honestly, she's ok most of the time, then she's utterly stupid the rest of it, and I'm like "UGH, GURL."
As for Stannis, not really into him. and I don't trust Melisandre one bit, even though I feel her character development sucks a lot. Girl deserves more than just be the "mysterious dangerous witch that gets naked and does magic with her vagina" trope.
We did the orleasian thing and set him up for a violent death!Loghain tried to warn us... but did we listen?
Also, my husbando is not afflicted with a glitter STD, LIZ!
Edited to add: Also reporting really hampers the thread, people begin to censor themselves. I wrote something I was happy to share, but then I didn't because people seemed up in arms about Mr. Glory Thighs. (Later, I did anyway, but I was a bit nervous about it). I also want Sailor Moon Solas, and one should not feel reticent about spreading that particular form of love.
Sansa! Well, the "new" Sansa.
eek~ I have so many problems with the show portrayal of Sansa's character arc and this whole "new" Sansa they've created (I am~ and always will be~
Sansa forever)
but that's hardly limited to Sansa as a character, D&D are just plain terrible - GRRM wrote these wonderfully complex, human characters with these amazingly human vulnerabilities and D&D decided to turn 99% of them into fantasy tropes (it's still a highly entertaining show with some moments where the original story shines through, but it's so many levels below the original canon I cringeeee)

We did the orleasian thing and set him up for a violent death!
yeah...
But only because I like Alistair better...
Gaspard:

I meant to show that Gaspard was a blunt, primitive and extremely dull instrument... But, hey! Your reading is equally valid...
In the words of Ohgren, "You can still kill with a blunt weapon!". I feel like the club is 'brutally honest', which I can appreciate in Gaspard. ![]()
What's funny is I legit thought you were. Blame my barbarian blood. I'd much rather be a club. Bloodied.
I blame my Norwegian heritage. Probably vikings in there somewhere, I'm sure of it.

Dat glitter effect. Nice. Hehe. ![]()
When I asked people to talk a little less about other characters, I was mocked. Whether Uire's comments were in jest last night or not, she was trolled and mocked - I sincerely doubt those were the only two instances of it happening. It honestly looks like there are some subjects that you can't have a dissenting opinion about in this thread without being crucified for it. It wouldn't surprise me if someone felt that their concerns actually couldn't be addressed here.
I bring up unpopular opinions from time to time. Still alive.
The key is to not care what people think about you.
And like Mythal... err, Giton said, to the people reporting others for silly reasons :

And now, going off to do what Orlesians do best: eat hot potatoes and Morteau sausage covered with melted cheese. MELTED CHEESE. I heard it stops people from reporting awesome posts from the funniest people around. Y'ALL NEED MORE MELTED CHEESE IN YOUR LIFE.
Also: I'm always up for any Sailor!Solas, anytime of day, anyday. Forever.
Sailor Solas, Best Solas.
(Sailor Moon is legit literature).
Quoted for truth. For real.
I couldnt agree more! I love the book Sansa, you really get to see her develop. Hell i love the Starks period. The show is great on its own but it misses or changes important details.eek~ I have so many problems with the show portrayal of Sansa's character arc and this whole "new" Sansa they've created (I am~ and always will be~

Elven gods are all about glitter, right? ![]()
This is hilarious. You know why? Sailor Pluto is the gate keeper. Out of all the Sailors, she lived the longest and survived the ancient war of the past that the other's did not. 10/10 for symbolism and literary parallel.(Sailor Moon is legit literature).
Yeah, I know! It was a very deliberate choice
