I couldnt agree more! I love the book Sansa, you really get to see her develop. Hell i love the Starks period. The show is great on its own but it misses or changes important details.

Hello! I'm new here. This forum is amazing. A lot of Solas fans . I'm gonna love it here. I have read a lot of discussions about some future DLC or if not, in a few years, a new game about how it should look like. And I was wondering when Solas told Abelas that there are other places where he can go, which are those places and where? And Abelas seems to know what Solas is talking about. I loved Solas from my first dialogue at Haven. He knew so many things, it was very pleasant to listen to his stories. He is very wise and so so kind, always helpful, caring for people in need. In my opinion, if he lied or most specific, he has hidden from us the truth, he did it because he had to. He meant no harm to the Inquisition or the Inquisitor. I ask myself where is he now, is he okay? Well, I guess he's not okay since Cole is always talking about how sad Solas is, how is he suffering, regretting. I think he could be helped in his journey wherever he is heading to. Mythal calls him a friend, Abelas has nothing bad to say about him, so why some people call Solas a villain? Just for the wrong Dalish history? Or for not saying the truth about him? These are not reasons for calling him so. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have Skyhold or the Inquisition. My Inquisitor tries to figure out how to use the Eluvian from Skyhold to travel to the Crossroads where we saw Solas at the end and then go after him

Stannis the Mannis for the Iron Throne!  Other than him, the only remaining characters that I'm really invested in are Jaime, Brienne, Doran Martell, and Sansa.  
 

Truthfully, if I had my way I'd have locked all 3 idiots in the Winter Palace and played Rains of Castamere, Walder Frey style.

Regardless, I would like to move past this point and hope that I do not become a thorn in anyone's side in the future. As much as I love a good bad guy, I hate being seen as the antagonist.

I really don't think people were being crucified. That's a bit extreme.

 

People here, by and large, are pretty reasonable. If there is a dissenting opinion and it is brought up reasonably, I think the reaction is, in turn, Vulcan-like and reasonable.

 

I think people need to calm down. Nothing really justified reporting. Or censorship.

 

I would much rather have people with varied opinions than a monolithic thread. And it's how people are delivering their concerns. Mims offered up a good point, a point that, in turn, was taken in good faith. Which I think is indicative of how things can be handled without recourse to moderation.

 

I've been on the receiving end of this inability to disagree civilly so I'm not sure what point you're making. I will cop to having a blunt way of phrasing things but I wasn't even impolite about my request. Most topics are fine but there are some things that can't be said in this thread.

 

Varied opinions are good. Which is why people who have a problem with any of the off limits topics being silenced by mocking and trolling is bad.

 

I bring up unpopular opinions from time to time. Still alive.

 

The key is to not care what people think about you.

Book for sure! I think the new her COULD rule someday just not yet. Shes got alot to learn but she finally is on the right track. Queen is a way better title for her though, minus that awful dress! I see her developing to be like margery without the influence of a ruthless babci

I've only been here for a short while, but I've had really wonderful discussions with people about everything from Orlais to Michel de Chevin to the morality of Blackwall to Anders and, while the disagreement has been vehement at times, it's never been unpleasant. I don't mean to drag this conversation out, but I think there's a huge difference between disagreeing insofar as "I disagree with you on topic A" and what I've seen people being called out on which is more along the lines of "You shouldn't be talking about topic A/talking about topic A like this," which is less an expression of a differing opinion and more of a condemnation of people for having an opinion/discussion about a certain topic to begin with.

Hmm~ yes My personal headcanon is that Dany ends up destroying the Iron Throne and ending the Targaryen legacy in the 7K before returning to Essos and becoming THE STALLION THAT MOUNTS THE WORLD AW YISS 

 

More seriously, I do believe that the prophecy of the crones of Vaes Dothrak is about Dany and not her child - that her true destiny is not to reclaim the 7K but to unite the Dothraki hordes in Essos, ending the trade of slavery for good, and bringing all of them to the Mountain as one horde.

Id rather see Sansa double cross him like he does to anyone else, waaaay more satisfying. Shes figured him out and kept that fact on the dl. A worse fate would be shrinking into obscurity watching your ward crush you with your own tactics. Imo

Poor Falon'Din.  He was shaping up to be such a good villain, and now if he does turn up in game, I'm just going to be giggling like a loon and waiting for the inevitable glitterstorm.
