You kidding? I imagine Kaidan's church boy exterior hides one kinky bastard if ever. Not full-on dirtykinky, but he probably has an interesting video collection and likes to try new things. And have new things tried on him. Frequently. Possibly while knowing others are able to see them.

Indeed, glad that was caught. And how in the world did you get yours to look more like a woman than a girl? Can you give sliders? I need all the help I can get with that, and with the patch coming, I wont have to start a new character.

 

I think it's partially in the eyes. Tinier that most Elves I see. She's definitely lovely!

Shianni and Soris. I got the impression that the elves don't reproduce as often as humans, which, combined with the strange human+elf=human rule, is why their population is so much lower.

The only thing I didn't like about Ashley in ME3 was her makeover. I loved her practical design (minus hideous pink armor). ;_;

I hated this so much. It just didn't look like her anymore. She's supposed to be a badass marine chick.

 

I also didn't like how she was still on that Cerberus whining trip.

In ME1, at least, there's a lot of allusions to Kaidan being a wee bit perverted.

His comment on Lorik Quinn's snark about the Noveria personnel lusting after Benezia.

That's Elyka (totally not a Dragon Age elf name, I know).

 You can take the first picture as how she used to be before she joined the inquisition: confident, a bit too naive about her own safety as a mage. Didn't take things too seriously, but cautious about non-elves. Not anti-human though. Indifferent about politics. Bit rather uneducated about her heritage. Believed in the elven gods, though. Spent a lot of time away from her clan, exploring places. Liked to do her own thing. Mostly cheerful disposition. Flirtatious, liked to show affection by teasing people. Polite to strangers.

Then she joined the inquisition VERY grudgingly. Does not enjoy the responsibility but grew into seeing the necessity of the situation. Now she fully supports it. Very serious about saving the world at the end. But the atrocities she's witnessed have stolen much of her indifferent playfulness. Being with Solas was a struggle for her. Big differences in their personalities. Kept the vallaslin. She's not sure the heartbreak was worth it.

My Renegade Shep had to take a Paragon hit just to get her back on the ship.  Oh boy they were really hating each other by ME3.

I gave my Lavellan not-anime eyes. I think that does help with the looking older thing, though I'm not sure I succeeded in making her look near 40. Oh well. At least she doesn't look 15.

Haha mine ended up with large eyes.  She looks super young but I pretend she's closer to my age (I'm 34).

I've looked on the wiki, and Soris and Shianni are listed as cousins (to each other and to the City Elf). But, yeah, it isn't really clear in the game itself - since they're both calling the City Elf "cousin" ^^'

Ah... I forgot about that... Although both Kaidan and Ashley do that so I don't take it too personally on that. xD The bitchfest was irritating even more to me since I joined the ME Universe at ME2 (PS3 user, yay!), so I didn't have the backstory on Cerberus and didn't think them too bad.

Don't get me wrong Kaiden was a good guy but I never romanced him cause of how he was with Femshep in ME2 and ME3. I've saved him a few times but I've mostly had Ash around. Also even if you don't romance him he just tries to cling to you...and I don't like that.

Ahh. I asked because I've headcanoned my Ilaria having a brother who visits the Inquisition either after Adamant or after Temple of Mythal (for drama after vallaslin-removal!) but I do like to keep my headcanons relative to the lore. Although if siblings are rare I might just drop it.

Exactly what he planned to do all along, except nobody would have even noticed because they were all too busy fighting each other. So, Solas, seeing what Cory is all about decides to give him the orb so it can be unlocked. This tells me that maybe Solas wasn't too concerned with Cory entering the Fade. Let's say Solas knows something we don't that means this isn't important to him. Then our character comes along and interrupts the ritual, causing the explosion, the breach, demons everywhere and killing a whole bunch of people. So, Solas decides to join the Inquisition, ostensibly to help seal the breach, but probably also to keep an eye on this idiot with the anchor on their hand who totally (screws up his plans) changes everything.

 

I think we can all agree, that Solas and his plans, are very complicated. Like Jon Snow, we know nothing. Like Cassandra, we know less than nothing. Who knows, maybe Solas' plan was a really good one and we bungled the whole thing.

 

Damnit, Bioware. I have been able to happily walk away from all of your previous games. Why can't I stop thinking about this one??

I'm trying desperately to catch up but I've been sucked into Crusader Kings II and you all have moved on without me.  I just wanted to point out this little tidbit for people who think Solas wanted Coyrpheus to unlock the orb.  At :50

I wrote 2000 words drawing parallels and differences between Solas and Blackwall after reading the first 5 pages I missed.  Needless to say I haven't gotten much done at work today.

Yeah, elves are supposed to have larger eyes. Which I went FULLY for, but tried to balance in some ways. I was inspired by faces like Emma Stone & Kaya Scodelario, the both of them having big eyes. She looks 20/25 for me, which was my goal.

And Solas having such tiny eyes makes me laugh as well, but I'm so used to it, I wouldn't want it any other way. And I don't think big eyes would have conveyed "ageless wisdom" as much as his current ones.

Kaidan is usually alive in my run (sad and alone, since my Shep usually dump him for Garrus. My headcanon want that he and Cortez end up together.) and Ash is alive in the maleShep run (left behind for Jack. Vega is free to try something with her).

I find them both not so much interesting to continue their romance post ME1. I like much more the companions/romance (minus Jacob) in ME2.
