Yes, the codexes can tell us whatever the heck it wants, but it doesn't mean what is actually given matches that. We've got a beta elven language at best. How anyone can pretend to know of the complexity of a language that's literally not completed in real life, is beyond me.

And I read through and could not understand because the dress is obviously black and blue. No question. I thought there was some joke I wasn't getting. So I rolled over and asked my husband what color it was.
"White, isn't it? And gold?"
And then I started to get super creeped out by the whole thing.

I wasn't even taking it seriously at all (I was saying, "It's black and blue and to say otherwise is heresy ).
Now that it's changed in my documents...I see, there's a trick to this, something that manipulates our sense of sight and color. It reminds me of some of the episodes of brain games, that show on the discovery channel? I loved that show. They demonstrated things like this.

I can definitely see Solas playing a musical instrument, he has the mind for it. I can imagine him playing the piano (as a piano player myself I am totally not biased in my thinking that
). Playing an instrument can enhance your focus.
I was actually kinda sad to see that Skyhold tavern didn't have a piano/harpsichord/whatever the thedosian equivalent would be.
I would peg him as a violinist myself, he has the flexible build for it...

I love the idea of a darker skinned Solas in theory, but I'd say the shine is way too high on Solas's face to make it look right.

I think it's the least invasive one on the face, while still retaining a nice symmetry. it's my favorite one as well, and I don't like face tattoos much.
Her theory was that Solas gave Coryphfrick the orb because 1) he was too weak to unlock the power and 2) He legitimately thought that Cory wouldn't survive after trying to unlock it.
This makes sense to me because he says, he shouldn't have survived and "it wasn't supposed to happen this way.
Well, it would make sense, definitely, about why he gave the orb in the first place, if he genuinely thought Cornflakes wouldn't survive unlocking it. Turns out to be just another thing Solas was wrong about, not big deal!

Ah, but we don't need to settle, that's what makes the world so versatile. What do you think personality types are? Nothing but this: how your brain decides to interpret stimuli, and hence, react to them. If broken down enough, it all comes down to neural impulses and chemistry anyway. Hence, drugs can change a person completely.
(Ah, if only Oxi were here to explain about chemistry.)

That darn dress... I asked some family members about it and so far my dad, sis, and I see white and gold while my mom and aunt see blue and black.
