Yeah. I haven't watched Torchwood since and even find it hard to enjoy seasons one and two now.

Solas is an exquisitely complicated character, yes. However, he would be also be a terribly boring one if one couldn't poke fun at him once in a while. If one can't laugh at something one loves, then there's no point in loving it, at least for me.

It really is interesting to me how impressions of Solas have cycled around since he was first introduced. I really am wondering what impression he will leave after further content with him. I know people don't actually consider him weak and I'm good with poking fun at things. There's plenty to speculate about him and a lot of unanswered questions, so things will naturally dip into the absurd the longer we wait. It's all good.

All this talk of Felassan makes me want to read The Masked Empire. Besides Felassan (evidently) being Best Elf, is it a good read?
Solas would not approve of my weekend plans, which consist of marathon watching the new season of House of Cards. \o/
So far I'm really enjoying it, to be honest. Maybe because it's about characters that interested me in the first place, and you get to see deeper into who they are, so that's always great for me.

The OTHER thing that I thought was really cool in TME is all the stuff about the in-between the Eluvians world and the actual physical places they end up between them as well. Morrigan basically tells you nothing apparently.

The more I look at this - it's kind of inaccurate. Solas approved of me pretty much just existing. For me he was the easiest character in the game to get approval with. Him and Dorian. Vivienne was the worst.

Same here. Solas pratically aprrove even if you ask how is the weather like, or what time is it. (with all my inquistors).
The only times he disapproves are with the Wardens and and the well of sorrow.

Same, especially Sera. I made an effort to get along with her on my canon playthrough, sometimes saying things that didn't quite fit her character so I could keep her approval up.
During my Nightmare Mage-Ilaria run, I decided to go with what Ilaria actually thinks. Sera gets me with a few zingers, and sometimes even approved of things I thought she'd disapprove of, but basically I get her very snippy greetings now. I almost, almost kicked her out of the Inquisition with her attitude when I let the noble go (my girl blamed the noble and Sera for that fuckup, ordinarily Ilaria lets her kill the noble but it must be on her orders). Basically, I won't be surprised if I get my crisis cutscene with her soon.
It's weird how I was pretty much convinced either Sera or Cullen was going to be my romance for Ilaria, but the more I interact with Sera the more she irritates me. I still love her for her dirty and silly sense of humor though, she's a girl after my own heart with that. xD
None of my characters (except my Chantry zealot) ever get on with Vivienne, and even then my zealot only respects what's she's done with her status.
