What something tougher than beginner, try Sketchdaily. You get publicly shamed when you miss a day and they also have a gchat.Too many compliments and not enough constructive critique? Concept-art.org. Those people barely have any emotions. Potentially I'm thinking of going to 4chan for that sugar-free critique. Carrieli, what's that 4chan board you frequent again?

I appreciate the suggestions, but I think more pressure would be destructive for my creative impulse right now. I'm re-learning to draw just for pleasure as used to do when I was a kid. The folks at the beginner group don't make just compliments, in fact it's mostly constructive critique and useful tips for things you're not getting right.

I think you can, for instance if you reject Aveline's quest she never gets together with Donnic iirc And if you don't go to Fenris' quest location immediately after it triggers, he'll get pissed off and leave the party. I can't remember for the rest, but I'm pretty sure you can refuse helping Anders collect the ingredients for his little "surprise".

But Fenris does not leave if you don't go immediately. Soon as you enter the city you will be ambushed and he will get angry. You loose a bit of approval but the XP from the fight are worth it. He will then blackmail you into going. Only if you refuse then, he will leave. Obviously I wouldn't.

 

However, I am not so sure if you can deny Varric's request, because in that quest you get the idol and the story might make no sense without it. Hence I cannot tell Delphine with certainty that she can refuse all companion quests.

Suddenly I am imagining Solas NOPE-ing out of uncomfortable situations by throwing a fistful of glitter like a smoke bomb. He's running away all "Haha, I have evaded your trap!" and people watching are all "Wtf, uh, dude? We totally just saw you."

Oh ok sorry, I read a few times on the old boards that he left if you didn't chase after whatshername right away. I never tried it myself.

I guess those missions tied to the main quest couldn't be rejected, like the lyrium idol one.

I see. I wanted to post my suggestion since people have different styles of learning so I wanted to post a contrast to yours which is a supportive group that i already lurk in. My learning style is to challenge myself. Which is why you will mostly find weird stuff coming from me. It's a "I bet you can't do this" and a response of "You can't tell me what I can't do". I'll post something there next time.

I can make a story without words but I can't come up with words. For an example, Remember that picture with Cullen and elf inquisitor in bed, and there is a creepy solas outside panting? I imagine at a distance, cole is watching atop one of the towers, staring down at solas who is creeping. Cole says his cryptic poetic words, then ends it "I have to help", then he strips to reveal a frilly bikini.
