While nobody's here I might as well post all my wonderings.  First, if a half-elf (though human by appearance) has children with an elf will their offspring still be human?  If you repeat this through a few generations will there be a point where the child "reverts" to being an elf or do the human genes just clobber the elven ones and replace them somehow?  Else, magic?

 

If I recall right Gaider has said that the offspring of an elf-blooded and and elf would still be human. He remained vague on whether if down the line continuing to procreate with elves would eventually lead to said humans being slightly more "elfy" however. If you like I'll find the post (or whole thread, as he made multiple posts in it) for source if you like.

I don't think its possible for elf genes to revert back. Reverting would make sense if you think about genetics, but it seems like there's something 'weak' [magically or otherwise] about elven blood. You add something else to it, and it doesn't go back. 

 

Granted, we have no evidence of that either. But I don't think humans actually 'infected' elves with mortality. More likely elves realized that whenever the two races cohabited and formed relationships, human blood dominated. Humans also likely breed faster than elves, making it even worse. 

 

Which must have been infuriating to the elvhen.

Just woke, so trudging through the old stuff.

@lynroy - I love the Piano Guys.  I've been listening to Loreena Mckennitt's "Dante's Prayer" for Solas recovery.

They are my people. I have not listened to that song for a while, love it.

Same. Cello is my second favorite instrument and with the piano, ugh, feels.

The more I look at this - it's kind of inaccurate. Solas approved of me pretty much just existing.  For me he was the easiest character in the game to get approval with.  Him and Dorian.    Vivienne was the worst.

Yeah, Solas was very easy to get approval from, I just had to talk to him and he approved. Same with Dorian. Shoot my first Inquisitor was bros with everyone but Vivienne. Was rather indifferent with her.

 

Hey, lol! We just had a 5k celebration in the Cullen thread and we talk about the Solas romance as much as you guys talk about Cullen's. It's pretty entertaining how similar each thread is and that is why I love both!

 

I romanced Cullen first and I will feel no romance will ever hold a candle to his. I think everyone's first romance is usually the one that sticks with them the most and is typicaly their favorite romance since they wanted to do that romance first. I love the Solas romance, but the lack of content was a shock when I first romanced him. I love the content there is, but as of right now Cullen is my top. 

I actually romanced Josie first and didn't romance Solas until my third PT. Solas romance trumps all for me right now, but I'm still making my way around to the rest of the romances. Currently doing a Cullen romance, I just need to find time to finish it.

I'm an intermittent lurker on this thread (and I'll go back to that shortly, no doubt), but I just want to say: thanks to you guys, I'm now planning to cast off all my various real-life deadlines, and draw the entire elven pantheon in full drag. I never knew (until now) how much I needed this.

 

And hi, as well. You seem like some rad people.

I have read this before! I agree with most of it! Only I struggle with Mythal being the Laughing lady of the Sky, because I personally think she is the Queen of the Dragons from The Silent Grove comics, and I do not think she would strike down a dragon. I know it is flimsy reason, but meh.
