Did anyone see the adorable [and precautionary tale] of someone on reddit? 

 

I had some coffee with one of my co-workers, and she told me about her daughter's fascination with DAI and how she wrote 'naughty little tidbits about that blonde fella'. It was all rather amusing, until she recounted how her daughter had been working on an essay for uni in one word document, and a smutty Cullen fic in another. Somewhere along the line she got them mixed up, and halfway down the history essay, wrote a very detailed, very sexual encounter the Commander shares with Dorian.

Then she saved the document, closed MS word and submitted the essay through turnitin. She only found out later when her lecturer sent her an email warning her about proof-reading her essays! I can't imagine how embarrassing that must have been, but we had a nice laugh at her expense.

Okay. A few days ago some of us were talking about Anders and it was a lovely discussion one in which I am glad stayed logical and understanding. I just thought I would post a picture that shows you guys why I love Anders. I love everyone in DA2 as well.  They're a hot mess, but they're MY hot mess, and I can find something in each of them that I admire.  Even if I do also want to punch them from time to time (or in the case of Anders, Fenris, and Sebastian, most of the time).  Come to think of it, it's probably the only DA game where I've liked everyone.  I wasn't super-chuffed with Oghren back in DA:O/DA:A, and y'all have heard my complaints about Blackwall.

I love all of them though I shed no tears when Carver is gone being a Warden or Templar....and I never got Sebastian cause of his attitude at the end of the game and threatening Kirkwall.

I feel like I want to slap each companion at least once in every BioWare game.  Even Garrus, whom I adore to tiny little bits.  Conflict makes them interesting, and it helps define their relationships with the PCs.
