I feel like this is the start of true literary art. The way Rabbit captures the emotion of the scene and intense focus of the characters speaks to the poignancy of the moment. The expression of inner thought for Cullen, representing innocence, and Solas, representing the jaded apprentice, is represented by Inquisitor being physically pulled in multiple directions. The uncertain morality of the Inquisitor is the foil to the certainty of purpose of the stone mason. The way Rabbit introduces Cole as a metaphor for a self insert (due to his love of rabbits) is a type of author arrogance many fanfiction writers seem to suffer. This would be my only criticism.

 

 

 

10/10 would make Cole happy again.

That's what I'm worried about. ;_; I want to pick the "right" romance first just in case I can't do another PT. I've never played it myself but my partner did, and I remember he hated it, and I remember not liking half of the companions (Isabela and Merril namely) myself.

Did anyone see the adorable [and precautionary tale] of someone on reddit? 

 

I had some coffee with one of my co-workers, and she told me about her daughter's fascination with DAI and how she wrote 'naughty little tidbits about that blonde fella'. It was all rather amusing, until she recounted how her daughter had been working on an essay for uni in one word document, and a smutty Cullen fic in another. Somewhere along the line she got them mixed up, and halfway down the history essay, wrote a very detailed, very sexual encounter the Commander shares with Dorian.

Then she saved the document, closed MS word and submitted the essay through turnitin. She only found out later when her lecturer sent her an email warning her about proof-reading her essays! I can't imagine how embarrassing that must have been, but we had a nice laugh at her expense.

I remember not having the internet at home, so I'd have to print all my smutty fanfics at school. Usually I'd wait until at the end of the day when there was next to no one about  and print off a good few pages, but one time I didn't get to the printer fast enough and another girl started pulling pages out. The first word on the page had "nipple" on it and it must have caught her eye, since she started reading the rest... aaaand because it was school it had my login details on the header so she knew it was mine, so she just sort of looked at me and handed me the paper and said "I'll come back in a minute" and left the computer room for a while.

 

I grabbed the rest of my shameful smut and left. ;_; She never mentioned it after that and I never even looked at her. Although thinking back on it she could have used it to make my life hell, but she didn't, shoutout to the discreet lady, wherever you are!

I must admit, that does sound very much like a Solas plan, just like giving Cory the orb: overly complex, highly risky, and probably the most precarious option out of a hundred different possible approaches.
 

In the Emerald Graves, at Elgar'nan's Bastion, Solas will say, "My people built a life here ... it must have been something to see."  He was referencing the elves of the Dales.  Now, granted that was 700 years prior to DAI however the elves of the Dales would still be "modern" elves to Solas.  The elves that created the Dales were not immortal and from all inferences were very much like the elves of the present time.  And to an immortal, 700 years is kind of a drop in the bucket considering he's probably several thousand years old.

You don't have to decide right away. Just flirt with both throughout Act 1. If you constantly pick the flirt options and have sufficiently high approval or disapproval, it will go on as follows. In Act 2 both will kiss you and Fenris will sleep with you, Anders will come to visit you in your mansion. If you send him away then, you can be with Fenris. If you sleep with Anders, you will be with him. So his visit in your mansion is the point where you must decide for one of both; but no earlier.
That said, there's only Fenris, really.

Nope, all options are bi-sexual. And the Merrill romance is sweet (though I broke up with her after sex and she took it quite well, even if a bit angry).
