Okay, I'll try.

@Colonelkillabee I know...I'd freak out if I accidentally posted that many. ![]()

We can't be certain, but according to a codex entry you find in the Temple of Mythal Fen'Harel may have been respected up until the Towers age (just after the exalted march of the dales). At least, the word harellan didn't change from "noble rebel" to "traitor" until then. It may have been that survivors of Arlathan did indeed respect him, and only the Dalish (who weren't formed as a people in their current way of life until about 600 years ago) have this narrative of Fen'Harel the traitor.
That's interesting. Is that then also around the time when all the elven entries seemed to be written by one Keeper from Clan Whatshisface?
She really wanted everyone to know how much she loves me.
She really wanted everyone to know how much she loves me.
That should go without saying. ;D
I guess everything that we think we know doesn't really matter, in the end we don't know jack squat about him. I don't know what I expected really...
We can all agree that whatever glimpse of who he is he agreed to show throughout the Inquisition is one that we all loved, but we can also agree that, being just a glimpse, we have no idea what other sides of his personality actually are. So we speculate a lot, and, probably more accurately, do a lot of wishful thinking.
What should I say? That's my scam... sorry? Uh... "I want you to know what we had was real"? "It's not your fault, it's mine"? "You deserve something better than me"? "Maybe if things were different...."? Just stop me once I hit the right one, okay?
I like where this is going... ![]()
Consider these posts liked.
(I hate being out of likes.)

lol, you mean Keeper Gisharel of Clan Ralaferin? ![]()
I do not know what you wackos are talkin' about mkay.
Okay here's a terrible Knock Knock joke (Solas related ofc) from Tumblr that genuinely made me laugh.

Joke Below:
Guys! I'm tired and a bit lonely! Pokemon/Solas related stuff flying around in my head.
Spoiler
Like I said, I'm tired and lonely xD
I love this so very much. Pokemon X/Y was my favorite in the series in a long, long time. Mostly for Professor Sycamore, but I also actually thought the main storyline was interesting. Which almost never happens in a Pokemon game.
Maybe give Solas a ghost-type pokemon? He's into trees and spirits, how about Trevenant?

What do you guys tend to refer to Solas as? Fen'harel or Solas? Or Fen'harel/Solas, just curious
Solas, for the most part. It's easier to call him Fen'Harel if referring to stuff from Arlathan, or him in god-mode, but IMO it's still the same person.
Old and Good lookin...
Frankly quite hot. ![]()

Keeper Gisharel? Indeed, it is ![]()
I posted a theory.....oh man like 1000 pages ago about how the Dalish narrative might have been modified after the 2nd exalted march.

*splutters* Good memory! Take a heart since I'm still out of likes. ![]()

We have to wonder at his motive (although that's probably already been done xD). Interesting also to note harel in his name.

The Guide of Falon'Din
Falon'Din sought someone to be his messenger and companion. The wind was swift, but Falon'Din refused to chain it. The People were loyal, but could not live where Falon'Din walked. Then the owl came to him and said, "I am not cowed by darkness. Let me serve you who also has no fear of night." Falon'Din accepted gladly, and took the owl as his servant, who thereafter helped Falon'Din guide the People through the passage of the Veil.

Apparently there were more sources than Clan Ralaferin.
I don't know if I like the glimpse of Solas we see very much, especially the glimpse who see right after wicked hearts or whatever. He's just so...infuriating! Especially given how everyone else treats the Dalish. I just don't feel as though there was an adequate response to his "I'm not yoooour type of elf" statement.
It just felt like...hmmm...after having Sera and everyone beef on you so hard it seems kind of harsh. It just got me thinking about how no one in DAI really feels like a true friend. How many would actually stand behind an elf, a mage, a dwarf, a talvashoth. if the Inquisitor didn't have the anchor, didn't have authority who would ever stand by them at all? That feeling of distrust, of distance, it never really went away for me.
Dorian, Cassandra and Iron Bull felt like friends for me. All three would stand behind you. Oh and Cole of course. But Cole's easy. Just don't be a douche knozzle.
First glittererotica, now Pokemon...
If I ever see one, I'm shooting it, skinning it, eating it, then wearing it.

Cullen would. Seriously. Or Josie. Cassandra does not care about who you are at all. Dorian can become a real friend. Sera will stand by you if you show respect for the people. Varric in any case. Dagna. Blackwall really is the last to judge. And all those people who signed up for the inquisition because you inspired them (see Bull's cutscene). Yes, there is racism. But the Dalish have been working hard for it. You reap what you sow after all. It's not so easy to blame any one party entirely here.
Because I'm a dork...and I've only had 4 hours of sleep...

Haha, yeah. Sometimes it seems like nobody likes a Dalish inquisitor, not even the Dalish (they make you earn approval since you have shem cooties).
For real though, while your companions might have a problem with the more holier-than-thou Dalish, I never got the impression that they disliked my Lavellan.
