It uses crafting materials so you're limited to those colors. I tested it with Solas.

I like how the armor regularly looks so I didn't save it.

Well. I was hoping for a bit more, to that "color" tool (jet black, please ). But, on the upside, now I have a use for all the bits and pieces of material left over, from armor slots. Love the Royal Sea Silk, but I can never get more than enough for about two armors. Then I end up with between 2-6 paltry pieces left over, and nothing to really do with them. Some of them don't have the utility/offense/defense stats that I like, but I like the actual color or texture of the material.

By the by, any word on whether schematic farming has been affected by this patch?

Non-sequitur, what is the argument for Felassan being FH? 
 

 

From what I understand, the theory comes from:

 

- Descriptions of Felassan are extremely vague, almost suspiciously so. The book does not describe his face, skin color, or hair. All we know is that he has violet eyes, wears a hood and vallaslin. I think there may be one line about him appearing 'ordinary'. 

- Mythal is occupying a mortal body, so some believe Fen'Harel would need to do the same.

- Solas shows that he has the magical talent to remove a vallaslin if he wanted to. 

- Solas wears a hat at the winter palace, the one time where he'd be close enough around people who knew him to need a disguise. 

- We know that Felassan is attacked and "killed" at the end of Masked Empire. 

- [Main Reason]: No one wants Felassan to be completely dead. 

 

I don't personally believe in the theory that Fen'Harel is possessing Felassan, but that's generally the big reasons. There are plenty of rebuttals though. [IE; Even if the hat was intended as a disguise, he still runs into plenty of other characters who would recognize Felassan but don't.] 

 

There's also a theory that Felassan never died, and that Solas=Felassan=Fen'Harel, but I would very much doubt that one. Felassan and Solas have fairly different personalities, particularly in regards to the use of violence. I also think if Solas actually was Felassan, he'd be more encouraging of the Inquisitor to help out Briala.

Yeah ok..so nothing big that I was missing somehow. Yeah I just dont see it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, it's mostly Solas's lack of reaction to Briala that makes me think he's not Felassan, and for that matter, he has nothing to do with Felassan.  He didn't kill him, they didn't interact.  Solas mentions that he admires Briala, but that's pretty much it.  Felassan and Briala were pretty close, and Solas is a bad enough liar where I don't think he could hide that if they crossed paths at Halamshiral.  He also doesn't say a word about the eluvian network (which would be kind of important to him if he was Felassan or killed Felassan).

 

IMO the devs did a good enough job foreshadowing Solas's actual identity as the Dread Wolf where I don't think they would have overlooked little details like these.  So as much as I love best elf, I don't think he's coming back, and I don't think Solas is all that tied in with his story
