AS LONG AS THERE IS A SEMI-HAPPY ENDING THEN I AM ALRIGHT, but I am not going to be drowned in angst. I already do that with my owns stories!

If Solas dies and turns out to be a villain, my Lavellan gets to move on with all the hot single elf dudes in my worldstate (plus Ser Michel.  He's half, it counts).  If he dies tragically, she's going the Flemythal route and playing host to his soul wisp.  If they die together, I'm going to be sadface, but at least they're together.

 

I still don't have any workaround for Lavellan dying and Solas surviving, but I'll hopefully come up with something between now and Wolf Hunt.

I got pretty creative (and more comfortable) with using headcanon after ME3, but generally speaking, I still prefer what I come up with to at least be in-line with canon, if not supported by it. So yes, I want Solas to be ok and Lavellan to be happy and ginger babies ever after in the game itself. But if I don't get that, I can weasel my way around the worst of the angsty sads.

As in you creating multiple worldstates in dragonkeep, all of them canon in your walkthrough.

Solas rides off into the sunset alone. Abelas gets caught by his adoring fans and lathered with oil. I guess Solas will find a use for the horn.

Solas is great. Solas has a cute butt. Solas is an elf. Where does Solas get all the time and money to moisturize his bald head?

I almost bought real googly eyes today, to put them on my screen displaying a picture of my inquisitor (yeah, stickying them on my screen, greatest idea ever).

They were only 1€, I think I really should have, one can never know when life requires googly eyes from you. Always be prepared for anything googly.

Especially if they spend so much time vacuum sealed in that armor. Dude must need an army of skin care peons.

I do that already in my own stories. That's why I write. I want the game to have a legit happy ending for most or at least have the romances concluded rather than leaving them open like wounds.
