I don't think there's any reason to worry about the thread. People are acting like we're in the fallout of some sort of smutpocalypse. This is BSN. The smutpocalypse is always yet to come. 

 

Actually Solas absorbed her.
Maybe Mythal isn't really dead, maybe ...  But we wont see her again as Flemeth, that's for sure.

 

I haven't entirely counted Flemeth out yet. Solas has Mythal's power, Morrigan will likely get something from Mythal as well, and Flemeth is sort of the outlier in all of this. Either she is dead for reals, or I wouldn't be surprised if she lives on with the old god soul you conveniently happened to harvest for her.

One thing I would strongly caution people on doing is treating threads like its an either 'this or that' sort of deal. Miranda thread split into two, and it took down the entire character forums of ME3 in the wake of said drama.

 

Let us not follow down that dark road!

I get warm fuzzies for Morrigan in Inquisition, and then I play Origins and remember how awful she was to get along with if you try to play a nice Warden. I hated having to leave her behind because she had some great dialogue and she's a great character, but it was irritating getting -5/-10 approval any time my Warden went to help people.

Nobody asked them to make another thread. In fact, I fought to keep them here so it wouldn't kill this thread. But they left and didn't bother inviting all of us, so it is what it is. Its too bad too because I would have liked to participate in the current conversation, but they never had those kinds of conversations here.

We got scolded by a moderator for being off-topic here. None of us wanted to get this 3000+ page thread shut down.

I'm assuming from this point on Flemeth would not be a 'must have' character. Her role narratively will be taken over by Morrigan and/or Solas. They do need to do something with the Old God Soul now that its outside of Kieran, otherwise it becomes confusing as to what exactly it was removed for.

 

Although we may also get the old god soul in the form of some other future entity or power. It doesn't have to be Flemeth exactly.

Sorry, Solas, but Morrigan was there first.

I couldn't take Morrigans life. She was my best friend in Origins.

And for Solas... Well he's thousands of years old! He lived long enough, to deserve final rest after all the sadness and the burden of his actions.
He must be very tiret ...


 

 

It's more that my Lavellan's life sucks so hardcore. Her clan is dead. She learned that a crap-ton of her culture is a lie and she's surrounded by shems and it's probably pretty likely that the Inquisition will face some backlash once everyone forgets about Coryphefish. I didn't feel like she was great friends with anyone in DAI aside from maybe Cole (not to the extent of DA2 or DAO anyway), so Solas is it. My Warden has their LI to soften the blow of losing Morrigan, but Lavellan's got no one if Solas leaves forever and that's sad :c

 

I mean, if he never shows up again she'll bond with Varric in his Lonely Hearts Club or move on but if I have a choice in the matter.... I can't think of a character I wouldn't sacrifice for Solas xD

I really don't want to choose between Morrigan and Solas. My Lavellan would probably choose him, but I would die a little inside. :/

Yes, please. I don't even get why there should be tension. The only bad thing that happened was the report, that was awful and I get why the ones getting it would be upset. But I don't think any of the people posting here did that.

I love Morrigan's character, but if they made us choose, I'd have to go with Solas. He actually got me interested in elven lore and looking at the warden's without my rose colored glasses. Dude was good for me. And I'm drawing again. Yay!

 

Still not ready to share, but I finally started something that I don't hate. Will see how it turns out and I promise to share it here no matter how bad it is. The blanket fort is a safe place! This is my first time working with color or digital so it's crazy hard, but I'm enjoying the challenge.

 

On the glitterotica exodus. I didn't have anything against the conversation, I just didn't feel compelled to participate. The thread has seemed a lot less manic today. So I guess that's a good thing

I'm really sad about this. Kate Mulgrew is basically my favorite and I want her to be in everything forever.
