It was sarcasm.
I don't know what bathroom stuff is....but I'll do my best. Also I don't guarantee it will be done before your birthday is over. But I'll try!!
Whatever you do. Don't google it. Lol. Thank You!

Here you go:
Thank you!
Well, the Elven Pantheon thread got made mostly as appeasement. The Solas thread has now gotten two mod interventions in the past couple weeks, and we'd rather not get anything shut down or put on the radar in the future.
So a new thread was made. It's hosting all the glitterotica stuff we've done so far, and it will be there so as not to cause too much trouble for people here. The more crazy stuff will be posted there to keep it contained.
I see. I looked through that thread a bit.
Mostly I was concerned about the "joking" and "sarcastic" negative comments that I've passed by more than a few times while trying to read the last few pages of each thread. I'm sad to see that the atmosphere here got to that point, that we needed mod intervention and the weird "us" vs "them" vibe I've been getting.
Hopefully some cool new DLC comes up that will generate some DAI excitement! (And Solas excitement, eventually. Wolf Hunt!)

It's a shame that the split threads mean that the elven pantheon discussion has left the Solas thread.
It was sarcasm.
Edit: I'm pretty sure as long at it is Solas related it's fine. Anything else. Hasn't been tested yet.
I know. I was being silly, sorry. Not the best time lol.
Hey lovelies! It's my bday and all my plans got canceled cause a HUGE snow storm just hit. Anyway, and I would be every so grateful, I could prompt one of you lovely artists or fanfic writers to create something nsfw? *30 something yr old puppy eyes*
Happy birthday!
Woah, huge.
Spoiler
Oh gosh. This is just. *ahem* Wow. Drake, you just take some of the best screenshots. Thank you!
I've been theorycrafting like crazy today. You get a theory. And YOU get a theory. And YOU get a theory.
A possible connection between the Fade and the Stone:
http://dragonage.wik...ns_of_the_Stone
This codex is found near one of the puzzles you do to collect a key fragment to the tomb of Paragon Fairel, in the Hissing Wastes. If you complete the puzzle incorrectly, demons come out of the stone. Which is kind of wack, but we've seen it before in DAO with the Gangue Shade (which was a demon you could summon in the Deep Roads if you were wearing the Legion of the Dead armor).
Gangue is a dwarven word meaning "impure spirit of the stone". In the case of the Hissing Wastes demons, it could be that they were sealed into stone by means of runes. After all, Paragon Fairel was known as the foremost master runesmith of his time (and perhaps of all time). Also according to this codex:
http://dragonage.wik..._Silent_Quarter
the veil is thin in the Hissing Wastes, from before the breach was opened. It could be that binding demons to protect the key fragments weakened the veil. Or perhaps the dwarves bound the demons to keep themselves safe from possesion in a place the veil is thin.
What interests me is that dwarves are entombed in stone upon death. In dwarven culture, it is known as "returning to the Stone". When a paragon dies, or "returns to the stone", their spirit is said to enrich the Stone and guide future generations. Since dwarves are known to be blocked from the Fade, it could be that dwarven souls don't pass through the Fade (which is the accepted lore for both elven and andrastian faiths) and are trapped in the stone, driven mad like sylvans (which are spirits trapped in trees and driven to madness).
Also, not sure if this has been brought up. But anyone else notice that there are always crows on the Fen'Harel statues? The Giant one in emprise du lion has a horde of them circling it.
Dirty An? Fear and Deciets doing? Thoughts?
I always just thought it was Lelianna keeping an eye on us. ![]()

And I get to like this twice!
I hadn't even considered the shade in the Deep Roads to be anything other than a random monster to fight before, let alone connecting it to the bound demons in the Hissing Wastes.
LMAO Okay I'll admit I never bother to read these but the first few notes had me curious so I've been skimming through it and I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. "Notes: It's smut time folks. Sweet, sweet smutty smutness."... Dat note. I died. XD

Neither did I, until I started re-reading everything. But then again, I'm crazy for lore.
It probably explains why I like Solas so much. COME BACK AND TELL ME YOUR SECRETS YOU STUPID WOLF!!!!!!!!!!

The veil is a mess in the Hissing Wastes, the Fade is bleeding into the place, just look at the green rocks near some rifts. At first I thought it was some strange new form of lyrium. It's the only area where we see this, it's interesting.
Ugh, I need to study some dwarven lore.
Aww thank you

All this is actually making me want to go back into the Hissing Wastes.
I'm hoping one of the DLCs ties into the Wastes. It's a huge area, and actually quite pretty, but it's so empty and feels like everything there was just to establish things.
I need more dwarven lore!

I really haven't gotten the us verses them vibe. At all. And I don't understand the reasoning behind either of the mod interventions. The atmosphere seemed fine to me.
(Okay, so we were discussing a lot of glitter and elven pantheon. But it's more like there was so much theory-crafting and fan-art involving them that it was high time they got their own thread.)
Italy and France eh? Don't suppose any of you are watching the rugby?
Spoiler
I've lived in Ireland for three years and I have an Irish friend who told me about this.
But then again I'm like.. "Pff, don't care about rugby :D".
Me - Friend = 1 - 0

You and me both. I love love love all the elven lore we're given, but I wanted to see more dwarven stuff too! Actually, at this point I pretty much want lore on anything that IS NOT human (because srsly, they're boring to me). Moar elven stuff! Moar dwarven stuff! Moar qunari stuff! MOAR!!!!!!
For dwarves in particular, I'm curious as to how they've even managed to survive as a race. As scary as the situation the elves find themselves in, Dwarves are barely managing to hold on at all.
Tortillas de patatas are probably one of the best things on earth, fact.
Amen, sista.

Watch, Solas is going to fade-step into Levellan's chambers, wearing a t-shirt that says "I went to Ancient Arlathan, freed the Creators that I locked away, lied to everyone I ever cared about, and all I got was this stupid t-shirt.", place his boombox on her desk, which is playing "Hungry Like the Wolf", pull down his vintage ray-bans (because he's a hipster nerd like that) to showcase his waggling brows, then say...
"Sub babe, howl you doin?"

The qunari! I need more qunari lore. I need to know what the Kossith were (are?)
I do need more human lore too. Stuff on the Avvar and the Chasiend and other non-Andrastians.

I'd buy that DLC twice.
This is exactly why I spent 2 weeks of free time going through EVERY. SINGLE. CODEX. and taking copious notes on each.
It's not enough to vaguely remember hearing something. I want to be able to cite my sources for theorycrafting. Also, rereading each codex carefully let me catch some details I missed while reading in-game.
So...if you have any other lore tidbits you'd like to discuss, I'm always happy to hunt down those codexes for you.
Do you have World of Thedas? There's Kal Sharok stuff in there (I know the codex entry from DAI first came from there, but I think there's some other stuff too. Don't have my copy handy to check, though.)
Kal Sharok and Serault are two of the places I must see in Thedas.

My first Lavellan is my self-insert Lavellan. She's probably going to grab him, flip him upside down, and shake him until all the lore comes out. (that or seduce it out of him
)
