The Inquisitor don't actually get to speak to the Bard because everytime he tries to have a word someone comes at them with a knife or a docks go on fire.

You and me both. I love love love all the elven lore we're given, but I wanted to see more dwarven stuff too! Actually, at this point I pretty much want lore on anything that IS NOT human (because srsly, they're boring to me). Moar elven stuff! Moar dwarven stuff! Moar qunari stuff! MOAR!!!!!!

 

For dwarves in particular, I'm curious as to how they've even managed to survive as a race. As scary as the situation the elves find themselves in, Dwarves are barely managing to hold on at all. 

 

"YES" to more dwarves stuff! Many of the things we've seen in DAI have gotten me even more interested in a lot of the lore. We've got the elfy things, now I want to know more about our dwarven friends. And the qunari too, I guess.

lol! yeah. My husband and I have completely different hobbies. He talks about his, and I zone out while adding a punctuated nod, or "mhum". In turn, he does that to me, when talking about video games (or any of my other hobbies, for that matter) No skin off our noses apparently. Going on our 28th year, of being together.

I'm with you (and probably just about everyone else here), at wanting a steamroll of facts, story and lore, from Solas, when we meet up with him again. Oh baby please, let this happen!

I read some AU stuff in which Merrill is the arcane advisor to Celene and joins the Inquisition.

 

That AU idea is one of my favourites.  I need to see Merrill/Solas interactions.  I'd think they'd get on well, even if they would disagree on a lot.

I really want an Elfquisition. Merrill as arcane adviser, Briala as spymaster, Abelas as Commander... still missing someone respected enough to be the diplomat though. We could just stick some prosthetic ears on Josie I guess. Or the Warden if they're an elf.

 

Dunno if an all-elf military/religious order would make Solas proud or just make him roll his eyes.

YES PLEASE! I want to go to Par Vollen!! Like, what the heck is up with the pyramids there??? why are they there, is it really sun worship??? they line up to the constellation Solium but are they lining up with the Tevinter version of that or the older version which probably represented Elgar'nan? I just have so many questions and unlike the elves, which we have pages of lore about, we get so little on them comparatively so far : /

I think Solas could really get along with Merrill. I know he scoffs at the Dalish trying to preserve/reclaim ancient elvhen knowledge, but she not only works towards this but sacrifices her life and place in her clan because it was more important to her. I think he'd respect that she'd be willing to do that for knowledge, even if he knew her attempts were misguided/did not go the way she hoped. I don't think they'd agree on a whole lot, but I do think they could get along.

How am I still out of likes?!  I just finished and let the Horned Knight present the Divine with her gift.    She ran off and vowed never to speak to me again, partly because I might have sort of not finished investigating the now-unsealed Chantry so I couldn't distract her with juicy tidbits.

 

Sadly, I was always too broke to romp in bed with the Bard after that first, glorious night.  I'm hoping that just means we romped elsewhere.  Either way, I would give my right mouse button to see the Silent Hunter (and to know for certain if the Dashing Outlaw really is Isabela somehow disaffected with boats).

I would like to propose we all discuss nothing but Solas' freckles for as long as humanly possible. Just to see how long we can carry on until we run out of steam. Because THOSE FRECKLES.

Oh. Hnnng. I did not need more reasons to drool over James McAvoy. Can't seem to look away. In this pic he's a dead ringer, but in other pics of him, I don't think his facial structure is quite right.

 

BUT HEY. I don't really care. James McAvoy as Solas would be glorious.

 

Choosing between Solas and Morrigan would be awful. I'd have to go with Morrigan, just because she's got a kid and she's lived a lot less than Solas. But I don't think they'd kill Morrigan at this point. 

 

Morrigan is also the only redeeming thing about my Warden, and that's saying a lot. 

 

I really like Morrigan, but if it came down to her and Solas, I'd have no problem being like, k, bye Morgs.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The strength of my emotions completely over-ride my ability to make logical decisions when it comes to that beautiful bald bastard. Even if it would not necessarily be the best case scenario for Solas. Because I'm selfish. Unless Solas and Lavellan could both die happily together, or enter uthenera or something.

 

This reminds me of a conversation I had with my husband a few years back, on the subject of romanticised death. He starts saying "We'll die together..." and I think to myself, hand in hand, sleeping, in our bed at 85, and he continues with "... in a spaceship crash at 103."
