I'm trrrying. I'm at that point in the coloring process where you look over everything and see so much work ahead of you. But I shall see where I am in the afternoon. It would be nice to finally have this done with.

Greeting Solas lovers. I wonder if you could help me? I am worried that my current run through is bugged. When I have played through before, whether allying with the mages, conscripting them or conscripting the Templars, on arriving at Skyhold the first conversation I have with Solas results in us going into Fade Haven and then waking up in my quarters. This time I have arrived at Skyhold and when I speak with Solas all I get is Corypheus. No prompt to ask about himself or stories of the Fade. I recruited Cole (Solas approval) but still nothing. Went away and activated another of his artifacts (slight approval) but still nothing.
I don't recall doing anything much different this run except perhaps choose dialogue options back in Haven that didn't result in approval. Also didn't always have Solas with me in party to garner approval when helping certain people. However, the big decisions have been pretty much the same. So is it that my approval is still too low to activate the Fade encounter or is it bugged? Thank you in advance for your help.
Sounds like your approval is too low, for whatever reason. Just do a few more quests and see how it plays out. If you are planning a romance, then make sure you also haven't accidentally been ninja romanced by Blackwall. [Although this won't impact actually getting the fade scene.]

This is a male Inquisitor so no romance. Still if it is a matter of approval then I can proceed with confidence and if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, although it would demonstrate how ridiculous the way the approval works since this Inquisitor is really no different to those I have played previously; he's never been downright rude or confrontational with Solas, just hasn't sucked up to him by saying the things I know would grant approval. Also I would like to be able to use different people so I get to experience conversations between different companions; I'm pretty well maxed out with Solas because my first run through was as a romance so he was with me constantly and the second was an elven hunter (male), so he invariably did form part of a mage duo combo. If he ends up telling me I'm a bad person it will be laughable because this Inquisitor (male elven mage) is really no different to my previous PCs; I'm just not taking him around with me so much. May be Solas secretly doesn't approve of him romancing Cassandra.
I believe Solas gives approval for flirting, so that might be why your first play through didn't have any issue with him.

Anyone else bought the hermit tarot Solas tshirt? 
It was the templar/mage thing I believe. I conscripted the mages. When I agreed with stuff he said, it was enough to have him still like me, but without that.. pfffllff, right down the toilet, though not enough to get that punch Solas scene. Still never got that.
The disposition system is annoying indeed, but it's the reason why people get two sides of Solas. It's natural though, nobody's going to be completely okay with someone disagreeing with something so important to you as spirits and their nature is to Solas. These disagreements whether we like it or not do color how we see people sometimes.
I had to completely ditch my first lavellan PT because I allied with the templars, got to Skyhold and, pfft, no Haven seen, no wisdom quest.
I did! I quite like it. I like all the tarot shirts really, I am just not so fond of the price. I await another two for one sale so I can buy up the rest.
I was mostly lazy about the "Kill people/collect things" companion quests. I didn't even finish most of them until after Halamshiral. And I think my Lavellan also managed to ****** off Cass at every turn with her insistence that the Herald thing was a pile of nug poo
They eventually wound up being friends though.
I'm just resigned to not getting any Viv content this pro-mage playthrough. My Adaar is not enough of a jerkwad to get her full disapproval conversation, so she's just going to passive-aggressively judge him from her balcony or something >< Does anyone know if there's a save editor where we can tweak approval?
In my first lavellan PT, I was very open about supporting mage freedom, my desire to disband the circles, etc and Viv just hated me, so this PT I just told Madame de Fer that I didn't think the Inquisition needed her. That felt good.

Dorian is always adorable forever. Everything about him is just the best. His whole relationship with the Inquisitor is just so warm and genuine. Like, the guy literally decides to join up with the Inquisition because it's the right thing to do. No ulterior motive, no secrets, no weird hang-ups about nobles or duty or faith. He does it because it's right, and he stays because the Inquisitor is his friend. It's that simple.
Not sorry for the off-topic gushing. All must know the glory of Dorian Pavus.
Doriiiaan. He is like an older brother to my Inquisitor. My Lavellan loves Solas, but she'd move Thedas itself for Dorian. He had her back in a post apocalyptic futureworld. She won't forget that.
Love Dorian. Even though Solas and Dorian have some not so lovely conversations every now and then I like to have them both with me. Dorian is like a Best friend to my Inquisitors...Solas too.
