It seems the rage for Lavellans is white hair.

 

I guess the reason why I get tired when I see people use "long blond hair" or "white/silver" hair for their Lavellans (and I guess the same goes for always seeing mage Lavellans in fics) is because I like a bit of variety.

I'm afraid I don't have a map on hand at the moment (I know, shocking, right? ) but I believe it's somewhere near the Red Templar encampment. No bloody idea where that is, since I don't have the game at the moment.

Oh dear...    Yeah, it's in a cave very near the Red Templar camp in the area.  There's a quest to kill the wyverns that you can get from that one lady you're asked by another guy in Crestwood village to check on.  If you accept the quest, it should give you a marker.

Well, considering I believe (and this is me just being an insane garbage human), that Solas is an evolved spirit himself, or perhaps merged with one, the same way Wynne and Anders did, and so very likely could have had a relationship with Wisdom. 

 

I also don't believe relationships are solely romantic in nature, and that perhaps it was as Solas says in the banter between him and Blackwall, regarding Fade-lovin', that it's not simple with spirits, nor can it be simply defined.

That wasn't what I was implying if that's the case, I was just pointing out he didn't call the spirit Vhenan. Also the Wisdom spirit isn't a girl, it's an it, Solas says so himself.

 

Though while we are on the subject (and yes I have heard his banter with Blackwall before it's pointed out to me) imho I do doubt Solas would get into romantic type relationships with spirits, I would think that it might risk corrupting them tbh. I won't say it's impossible though, nor am I gonna suffer if anyone ships it, everyone is allowed their own opinion on it.

There's a feature where you can see inside the building and basically roam the halls virtually. There's some pretty artwork on the walls that you people might be interested in spying on.

That's my impression, too. In Cole's quest, Solas seems to strongly dislike the idea of imposing human emotions upon spirits. I guess he could have had something akin to "romance" with some spirits; like a very strong mental connection and a fondness of spending time with each other similar to the emotion of love. But the idea of a romantic relationship with Wisdom is a bit of a pet peeve of mine; not because of my Lavellan being teh one, but because it seems that two people can't have a close relationship without romantic involvement. I don't like the idea that if you're close with someone you'll eventually bang him/her unless he's a Dorian to your f!Lavellan. I also I think that Solas could have gone many years withouth physical relationships; he's not a man, he's a god or god-like creature, and I think his needs are very different from those of mortals, specially when roaming the Fade in uthenera. But that's just my approach.

 

Regarding the past hair discussion, I think if you're a hunter that spends weeks or even months on the forest, and a Dalish one which implies you don't have regular access to a hairdresser, having really short hair or a short hairdo is less practical than long or medium hair. Either you keep it long or shaved, prodiving you have a razor and can keep it from getting rusty. Maybe there is a fundamental role in Dalish clans that is ze coiffeuse, but I see them more braiding each other's hair or cutting it in a very simple way. Then again, this is a fantasy setting and not a historical one, so whatever floats your boat. If I read fanfics, the last thing I'd care about would be haircuts, though.

I find quite hard to believe Solas can have a relationship with a spirit. Spirits are quite sensible to how people perceive them, and are embodiment of a single quality. Probably experience-going to feel something outside their prefissed quality, would probably tranform them into a deamon. Like Solas say in his personal quest, a spirit who find itself taken away from its purpouse, became a deamon, because can't really cope with something different from its purpouse.

It's the motive spirits rarely survive with their nature intact when meeting a mortal.

Even Justice end up becaming vengeance because he was influenced byt Anders. When in Kristoff's body, he didn't had so many trouble because Kristoff was...well, dead. Justice have his memories to see, but wasn't influenced by his emotions, since where only ecoes.

 

Cole is an eception. He have a layer of complexity highter than others spirits because he have, somehow, survived in this world learning to cope with a more human life. Probably he made it because he thought he was actualy a human for most of the time. But his purpouse is still the one of compassion. He doesn't feel any desire different from helping people, he have less of this need only if he became more human like.

 

Beside all that, this is mostly my sceptic thought, I am sure Solas had past relationships, and just stumbled on a elven girl with a glowing hand that actually ended up becaming much more interesting and important to him that he thought. (and one with a fine booty, that doesn't hurt. Solas may like spirits, but is still a man. Too bad spirits can have sexy booty only if you want them to, and doing so they can became deamons.)

I don't think he'd have a romantic relationship with a spirit because he'd be worried of corrupting them.
