Discuss the nature of blood magic and spirits? Enumerate our questions about either lore or story we hope will be answered in the upcoming DLC beyond do we tap that ancient elvhen ass again (or for the first time if new options... arise, if you catch my meaning)?

You know, I'm sort of surprised no one did a mockup cover of "Lord of the Flies." Only with Abelas and thighs. I hear he's popular for that?
It stands to perfect reason that the beans couldn't be spilled because as Uirebhiril said, he had to stick around for the rest of the game and his deception by omission was a bit heavier than Blackrain. Perhaps that truth might be coming and the beans have yet to be spilled. I hope so. Until then, I can blame Solas for chicken&#*%ing out of telling the important truth and side-tracking to....your face.
All in all, Solas is a wonderfully written character in my opinion, and I enjoy him, even when mad at him.
I'm going to agree here, if only for the "wait, what?" reaction I had the first time I did that scene. "What I have to tell you... your face." Like, srs? It was so jarring to me that I figured that wasn't what he meant to say. There's just no way.
As smooth as you are otherwise, Solas, you failed there. F-A-L-E.
I'm happy to headcanon that. It makes sense. Or maybe wild halla are sufficiently different from domesticated ones in their physiology, since they were never bred to pull aravels or bear riders. That might be giving DA:I too much credit on the biology front though.

Anders: I let a spirit of Justice possess me even though I'm already super-pissed at templars.
Solas: I gave my Magic 8 ball to a crazy dude who blew up the sky with it.

Still not sure what you unearthed. Talked to a Mage about it and got a typical "head in the fade" response. Got a better answer from that Tranquil of yours, and it still chilled my short hairs. Plain speak, there's a spirit of some kind in there. Now, a horse to me means "freedom", but I understand that sometimes it's a demon? The wrong side of what it should be. What's the wrong side of freedom? Chaos or just "unending"? Something like that. Whatever is in there, this animal was best of breed, an Orlesian charger fit for any Chevalier, and well tended in life. By its wounds, I'd wager it fell in battle with demons of some ilk and was finished by its master's mercy. Whatever spirit of loyalty or freedom or whatever makes horses run brought the strange thing back. It wants to serve. I've no doubt it will ride well, and I'll stable it, but I'm not going near it.
