My Shepard and Lavellan are fairly different. I wouldn't want to wish my Lavellan on Garrus. Although my Shepard would probably get along just fine with Solas.

I admit, i even scare myself when I realized what I was doing with the fly cam. It was for modding purposes!

 

It will become super meta when we'll have to create yet another BSN thread for Stevhen and Uniqua because the Solas thread will once again be totally exhausted of them.

I hope that never comes. More work the maintain it.

Very true.  Now he just has to work on the whole not-dumping-me thing.  Bit of a speed bump for our epic twue wuv no matter how skilled he is at makeouts 
 
I do miss the slow burn of Garrus's romance arc.  We're not likely to ever get something like that for Dragon Age since each game has a new protagonist, even if some of the companions come back.  But the fact that we were best friends for all of ME1 and a good chunk of ME2 before anything happened made it feel so different from most of BioWare's romances.

My Shepard and Lavellan are fairly different. I wouldn't want to wish my Lavellan on Garrus. Although my Shepard would probably get along just fine with Solas.

Garrus would probably treat my Lavellan like little sister material. Her strengths aren't things that are readily apparent to someone like him. My Shep and Solas have a lot of the same mental problems, so they'd get along spectacularly and be horrible for each other.

Oh yeah. Solas wins for best kiss. Even my non Solasmancer friends agree. 

 

Also, Solas will always seem so suave to me because he turned out to be 1000x more suave than people were predicting back during the summer. Shy Fade nerd he is not.

 

He could teach Lamelas a few things about how to kiss a Lavellan.

Same here.  the "starting later" of the Garrus (and Tali) romance made the relationship much more natural. As if it build slowly.

I would love something similar again. (maybe with Varric? Can my cute dwarfettes dream, right?). But as you point out, in the DA serie will probably never happen, even if I would love to play again with my Inquisitors. I like change protagonist, but this time it felt as if the Inquistor was taken away from us just when we had became to love her. Sigh.

Maybe the lack of slow burn in the case of Solas and Lavellan will equal a fiery reunion. A good fiery, mind. Not the sort where the world is going up in flames.

 

I never romanced Garrus. He was just such a good and close friend to my Shepard that it never could happen, but I adore the ever loving hell out of him either way. He would probably get on very well with my Lavellan, but my Shepard and Solas would be the bad kind of fiery. They might respect each other, but there's no way I can see them actually liking each other. Shepard ain't got no time for puzzles, mystery, and bull****.
