OH SO this is totally not entirely related to Solas but it IS related to Dragon Age. I tweeted a question to Patrick Weekes last night about archery and he answered! And then I had a twitter conversation with him and someone else he brought in to talk about archery in Thedas. And then Karin Weeke favorited a bunch of the tweets, including my own. My moment of glory has come.

lol, I see RogueBait and I aren't the only ones who have Lavellans named Tala.   In fact, I was almost sure that was RogueBait's Lavellan until I realized RogueBait's Lavellan had Sylaise's vallaslin, not Ghilan'nain's. 

 

Ah! I didn't even scroll to the title, so wouldn't have noticed! Haha. Talas are taking over. That Tala does look very similar to my own. *squinty face* Only my Tala's eyes are a greenish-yellow colour. And her skin tone is lighter than hers. And she has some freckles. And a scar over the right side of her forehead. And Sylaise's vallaslin.

Hmm, not sure but I could certainly relate to the whole crushing-on-your-own-character thing. I might have a slight crush on my male Trevelyan.   (My crush on my own Lavellan is more of, "OMG! She looks soooo cuuuute!" xD)

Now I feel like remaking my own male Lavellan. I need to make him look more manly and less like a teenage boy.

It took me like 10 minutes. Warp and Liquify are powerful tools. I imagine he's unhappy because he's been eating all his feelings after dumping me but now he's run out of cake so they're all rushing back at him.

Ugh, I know what you mean. It took me ages to make a male Lavellan I was actually happy with. All of my previous attempts ended up looking pretty girly, or at the very best, androgynous, and I wanted him to look distinctly masculine, though not overly so. But I think I've kind of shot myself in the foot by succeeding, 'cuz each time I load up that PT, I'm so distracted by his charming face that I end up staring at his awkwardly shifting frame in the attributes screen for far longer than I care to admit. And then my playthrough continues to stagnate. Ridiculous.

Guilty. Got a little crush on my Dude Lavellan. Became so attached I gave him a moustache because I'm strange like that. I have a save file right at the beginning of the game with him so I can go back and play the game over without trying to recreate him in CC. To keep it all Solas related, he was totally friends with Solas.
