I'm also gonna throw out the small note that I wasn't sold on Solas when I first saw him revealed, I expected him to be a very up-himself character: always acting like he knows everything and being all "holier-than-thou." because he had the experience.  Then I started the game, and heard his chuckle and smile for the first time aaaaand then the fangirl crush began.  I am not ashamed to admit this xD

God, he is such a glorious bastard. He looks rather regal in that patterned blue, too. It makes me imagine ancient Arlathan Solas in mega-splendour, and it's just so. Nice. Hhng.

When the armor tinter came out I changed his cloth color to silk brocade and that blue and fancy fabric just go SO well.

 

You may have broken my Lavellan's heart but see, she still takes care of you.

This seems to be the case for like 75% of people. Or more. Same here. I don't normally like bald guys or older guys (heh older), but that goofy smile and the humor and the lines, and those smooth flirts and how utterly fascinating he is to talk to....

Very true! I suppose I shouldn't judge before getting to know a character, but hot damn that personality and backstory...almost makes me feel bad for romancing Cullen to start with, then again, I suppose that spared me the heartache until I did my Lavellan playthrough XD

My friend and I both had the same reaction to Solas, and she usually romances the elf so that was not a total surprise, but how strongly was unexpected. After she found out what happens, she restarted and switched to Cullen and she's Dalish again so is stilll severely tempted. Still, she has been like my  mini real life support network ever since my explosion of feelings.

A castle in the snow, in the mountains, with thin air that probably makes it heard to breathe, and probably horrible attempts at baking anything due to elevation (a girl needs cake sometimes). Also the guy who walks around in soft knitwear and half barefoot in the snow sent us here. He is unperturbed and would brush off these as inconveniences.

I'm a Los Angeles native. If it's below 72 degrees Fahrenheit, I'm not a happy camper. 

 

Edit: Also, Skyhold is a fixer-upper. Is a nice castle too much to ask for, Mr. Elvhen God?
