I've never gotten it on a friendship path so I assume it's romance.

This.  My first playthrough was a Trevelyan and I never got that phrase of "You matter."

Same. It feel so much as the situation I have with a friend of mine (she see a married man, but he is much older than her, and have nowhere in mind to leave his wife and family). A bad situation without hope, expecially for Varric. (as I see it, Bianca could simply leave her husband and sell her inventions to substain herself. And is not as if in Thedas is rare for married couples to break up. See Branka and Oghren) Bianca will forever be ok with having two foot in one shoe.
But at least I sometimes I can try to put a little salt in my friend brain (no success for now, but at least I can say I have tried) with Varric, the Inquistor can't even make a comment.

 

 

Is sad Harding is just a "half romance". She is cute, and I like her character.

Bianca, for what I have seen for now, I'd prefer to stomp on her with the war nug. I really don't like her. Mostly because I can't stand in RL persons who cheat on their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife. If you don't love the person you are in a relationship anymore, be a responsible adult, and leave him/her if you want a new relationship.

So this, with her Mary Sueish attitude and presentation, and impossibility to put her in jail/recruit/something for having actually give to Corypheus the red lyrium, (when we can condamn people for much less, like trowing goats at our fortress) gave me the "Tallis wibe", so I quite hate the character.

 

Bianca can't leave her husband.  Her and Varric's dialouge makes it pretty clear it took two attempts by her family to get her to marry and it was only after they threatened Varric that she agreed.  She can't leave her husband or Varric will suffer for it.  She loves Varric and they're still a couple (as much as they can be) but they can't be together properly.

I never thought I'd find a contender for favourite VAs alongside Simon Templeman and Gideon Emery and yet here we are I also listened to that audio book he narrated, his voice is so calming I could fall asleep.

because that was awful. GDL was amazing of course but his sultry delicious voice kept getting interrupted by the harpy screechings of the rest of the cast, and by how awful the book was.

That was the one.  It's actually funny because I honestly paid no attention to what the actual story was about, I got too easily distracted by who was narrating xD

 

"Harpy screechings" that was beautiful.  I couldn't care less on the actual book, audio books like that only pique my interest if I recognise a voice and then I dip in to listen.

I just want to say: I love how much Bianca love there is in this thread.  I get so sick of feeling like I have defend her to everyone in the fandom.  It's nice to see other people like her too.

 

On topic: does anyone know if Solas' 'you matter' line triggers if he's not romanced?  I know the flirt option still shows up for Lavellans who didn't fade tongue him.

I think Solas doesn't really give them much of a thought after the fact. I don't think it makes him happy to do it, but I don't think he regrets it either. I doubt he dwells on it afterwards.

This.  I think him letting them live and go about their business would have caused him to lose much more sleep.   Knowing they can't do that to another innocent spirit is probably helpful in him moving on from it.  

 

Wow...I had no idea that Tali could kill herself. I love Tali...how could anyone make her do that?  That's horrible!! I want to go play ME3 now and give her a hug.

Pretty much EVERYONE that could die in ME3, did die in my Canon (and only) playthrough.  That'll teach them to not even mention it when my BF gets skewered by a cereal eating ninja loser .. bye bye Tali, woulda made more of an effort if you'd been a better friend...

I started shipping it after reading her journal too.  I think Sera would be freaked out by Dagna interest in magic, but she'd like that she couldn't actually use magic.
