I didn't know that Dark Souls is perfectly happy to throw two bosses at me at once.   I thought we had something special. 

So I've missed most of the limericks.

I haven't quite had another tin foil moment, but I can feel it coming.

Off-topic, I just watched Birdman. Since my SO and best friend were heavily involved in plays and I was occasionally brought as a sanity check, I can vouch for the accuracy when it comes to the insanity and hatred. 

On-topic, what do you think Solas's fashion choices were like back in the days of Arlathan? Still an apostate hobo? My headcanon at the moment is finely-tailored and elegant, rather than garish, robes for formal events, and a variety of disguises like his Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts shenanigans. My guess is that the apostate hobo look is both because he lacks money and because none of this modern fashion is worthy of his attention, so he goes with what's practical for him. Plus, it lends credence to the apostate elf story.

Im writing some fan fic at the mo and use music to help stimulate my little brain cells and evoke different scenes etc. SO, do any of you guys have songs/music that takes you to a certain scene or moment?

 

For example, for just general feels, I listen to ethereal, or celtic type a stuff like Clannad or even Michel Pepe. But one song that sticks out for me that lyrically seems spot on for the romance aspect between Solas and Lavellan is Florence and the Machine's Howl. Take a listen, it's amaaing!!!

On topic, my only ships for DAI involve Solas. He's become my "shipping bicycle", so to speak. But that's always the case with my favorite character in anything. 

 

I don't ship my Lavellan with anyone else, though, so there are no other hellspirals there. If Solas hadn't been an option, my canon Inquisitor would have romanced nobody.  Actually, I didn't really hellspiral with Solavellan either. I got lucky in that I knew the dealio long before I reached the endio of the gamio so the depression period never happened. I was more upset at the "Solas is Fen'Harel" reveal (which I knew before I really started playing because I'm a spoiler ho) than knowing that the romance never really goes anywhere. 

 

Also, someone has figured out the S.O.L.A.S system! I remember referencing Always Sunny a while back and I'm so glad someone did this!

I don't know what it is, but I have to admit I actually cried over someone of the comments directed towards me  I think it's good that people can headcanon Solas as ace, but I don't understand why people have to be so mean when you don't agree..,

Yes, it's the first fanfic I actually finish & publish (Solas had that effect on me ) ('also wrote stuff about my Warden at the time, but not really as fanfics).

I saw that post. Those people are batshit vicious crazy trolls. Looking over their blog they're just a group of mentally ill basement goblins running around Tumblr looking for people to be mean to.  Don't let it get to you. Seriously... She blacklists entire characters as her triggers. The ****** is crazy.

I actually skimmed through what they said, they have alot of hypocrisy to their own opinions, it's weird. I never knew the vocal ace community until now. I went to one of their tumblrs and it directs you to a youtube video of "suck my d*ck".

If someone has to resort to vicious comments in order to prove a point, they no longer have a point to make.

 

People can headcanon whatever they'd like. That's one of the nice things about the romance. But neither side should be treating their opinion as canon, or harassing anyone who feels differently.

 

I'm assuming this is on tumblr. In which case, even the writers were driven off by hateful comments. Don't feel alone in the matter.
