Since I haven't run into Arl Foreshadow or anything, I'm assuming this is similar to that or to Sandal's prophecy.

Curtain could either be the Veil, or perhaps there is something Golden in the Black City. Perhaps it's the Sun.

'Chosen his to reign' is curious. Does it actually say that, or is it a subtitle error? If it's not an error, then I'd say this is about Fen'harel and definitely not Corypheus. Corypheus chose himself to reign, Fen'harel backed the Inquisitor and helped them in the aftermath of Haven to become the Inquisitor instead of just the figurehead and Rift-closer.

It's interesting.

This part I can also see applying as Fen'Harel wants to help the elves, bring them hope and possibly restore their potential and long lives if possible.

 

Faith....I'm not so sure, given his comments about the pantheon. But faith in other things than religion? Yes. Faith in themselves? Maybe. Not Dalish style, but not as a people collectively hurt and still suffering, to believe in something better again.

 

He has the best of intentions, I think, but we know how intentions can go wrong.

More serious thoughts:

 

First line, could essentially be anything. But it sets the tone of the next two lines. Numerous people in Dragon Age have noted that the current era is not the way the world should be. Flemeth in particular has been longing for whatever change is coming. 

 

Next line could be about Fen'Harel wanting to save the People. But I also wouldn't be surprised if one of these lines is deliberately misleading. 

 

Final line sounds a lot like shining light on the black city and the veil.

Either way! Creepy. But cool. I know they were originally only going to have Sandal's prophecy trigger 1 in 50 games. We had the statue in DA:O. I wouldn't be surprised if this quest was our weird spoilery prophecy.

My secret longing is for there to be some mechanic to choose an elven leader. I feel like they need one. Just have a bunch of contenders aggregated from each game. Maybe something like Briala/Merrill/[unknown ancient elf]/[Lavellan]. Possibly warden elf too, but not sure if they'd ever bring them back.

At this point, I would actually be legitimately pleased if they did do something like this. I'm so far gone... anything Solas related that's not utter tragedy would be most welcome. Maybe even utter tragedy would be most welcome. SOLAS WOULD BE MOST WELCOME.

Going off the notion that the easter egg is talking about Fen'harel, then 'His chosen to rule' could also be a reference to 'the form of the divine, reserved for the gods and their chosen'. So he'd be re-enacting the practice of having Chosen serve the gods.

I also can't help but think of it being Elgar'nan or Falon'din. The Light reminds me of the Black City, the Maker, Solaire, Elgar'nan, or the Sun itself.

'Bring a dream of life' is interesting, considering how important Dreamers seem to be and the fact that the elven gods seem to be whispering in red lyrium and have 'found the dreams' again.

School got super busy and I couldn't keep up with both it and this, so I had to pick one and, sadly, Solas (as beautiful as he is) is apparently less important to me.

Anyway, I am back... my 8 week class is over, so hopefully I will have more time for Solas!

If this is Fen'Harel's world, perhaps he wants to destroy the black city or Arlathan so that all beings outside the Fade concentrate on the here and now rather that on some sort of past mystical illusion...

Hello everyone. I popped in earlier to ask when to expect Solas's next romance scene and I can now confirm that I've seen everything....

I was some-what prepared. At least, I thought I was. I knew the twist at the end thanks to my first playthrough and I guessed and had it confirmed Solas ends things with the Inquisitor but I refused to watch any scenes of his romance. It made no difference, tears, tears everywhere

 

 

I now understand why his romance is so popular. Solas was one of my favorite companions before this but I didn't anticipate how much it would affect me. While it didn't have the most content (oh how I wish there was more),  every moment was just wonderful (well, except THAT moment). My poor elf... Watching her pain and confusion was horrible. I assumed the break-up would be its own thing so I let myself get swept up in the hand-holding and the "I love you" eyes and, and...I was not expecting that. Not right after one of the most magical and romantic moments in a bioware game, ever! Numin your name has never been so appropriate, "tears" indeed.

 

 

Solas was the only one she let her guard down for. DLC can't come quick enough.

So, I went to do the the Easter Egg hunt for the Fairy in the tiniest cave and get my flower crown.  I discovered that the Fairy has some interesting things to say if you wander away for a bit while jumping on his house.
