You know, as funny as that is, I bet it's not all that far from how the Dalish clans would've viewed Solas popping up and trying to teach them things. Insane homeless man who thinks he's a god.
Part of me hopes we get DLC with rainbows and unicorns and Solas + Lavellan riding off into a non-apocalyptic sunset. The other part kinda hopes it'll be made very clear how in the world my favorite tea-hating, coattail-burning, fade nerd is the Dread Wolf. If Flemeth hadn't specifically called him by that name I'm not sure I would really have believed it.
I mean, I know age and circumstance change a person, but I just can't imagine Solas with that scary title, even in the past. Sure he wants to kill the mages after torturing his friend, but at least he ends them quickly. I was way more scared of Sera when she beat that noble to death.
Dread Wolf. I dunno, maybe in the future he'll start speaking in minor harmonics or something and I'll want to duck under the covers.
I dunno, he's pretty scary when he tries to make large-scale decisions for the rest of Thedas....

The worstbest part about that thing is when the story about the "riftjob" fic broke, I mentioned it to my friend and explained what the Fade was and how the Anchor worked to open holes into the Fade. Her response?

As far as I'm aware burning to death is actually a slow process. I think the game makes it look quick so it doesn't seem as bad, or maybe magic fire burns quicker, but it's still not pleasant. But I do agree, Sera kicking that noble to death was much scarier; I let him go in my canon PT mostly because of how horrible it makes me feel hearing those squelchy noises, I'd rather she just stuck an arrow in his face.
Also, slightly off-topic: I decided to kick Sera out after that mission to see what it was like and, holy hell, I felt so bad! She was really despondent, and sounded like she was close to tears. Quickly reloaded that save. xD I don't even really like her, but it was like kicking a puppy!
