I've got the beta on the PC too. But it didn't update.. just the regular game did.

Well, they definitely didn't fix the issue with "Pull of the Abyss" where the monsters sometimes ignore where they SHOULD be and jump to where they would have been if you hadn't cast it. Which is right on top of you. So annoying.

I have 49/50 at the moment, only the Nightmare mode one left, but I'm leaving it for my partner when he'll complete his nightmare playthrough.

I don't know. In the thread in scuttlebutt he says they are showing up in the xbox one app. I'm not at home so I can't check till my husband wakes up.

I have an eye on twitter for when the devs wake up, but even then they might not release any info for hours. I seem to recall Patch 5 was out before they released the notes for it.

  You know, as funny as that is, I bet it's not all that far from how the Dalish clans would've viewed Solas popping up and trying to teach them things. Insane homeless man who thinks he's a god.

 

Part of me hopes we get DLC with rainbows and unicorns and Solas + Lavellan riding off into a non-apocalyptic sunset. The other part kinda hopes it'll be made very clear how in the world my favorite tea-hating, coattail-burning, fade nerd is the Dread Wolf. If Flemeth hadn't specifically called him by that name I'm not sure I would really have believed it.

 

I mean, I know age and circumstance change a person, but I just can't imagine Solas with that scary title, even in the past. Sure he wants to kill the mages after torturing his friend, but at least he ends them quickly. I was way more scared of Sera when she beat that noble to death.

 

Dread Wolf. I dunno, maybe in the future he'll start speaking in minor harmonics or something and I'll want to duck under the covers.

 

Hmmm, it may be that he was probably more feared for his capacity to deceive than for any actual punishment he meted out. After all, he seems to be an ascete rather than a narcissist, a utilitarian, and I cannot imagine him inflicting extreme cruelty unless there was some purpose to it.

On PC the update is only 276 MB, and no new achievements for now!

Patch 6 notes: (getting these straight from my PS4)

• Adjusted position of mosaic pieces for "The Fall" so they can all be collected
• Buffed the Katari multiplayer kit slightly so that is has more HP and generates guard on hit.
• Changed Solas' quest "What Lies Dormant" to trigger when reading the after action report for "Measure Veil Strength" instead of when the time completes
• Fixed case here the GUI did not come back after opting out of light conversations in certain circumstances.
• Fixed issue that caused some dragonlings in the Hinterlands to become non-hostile when the dragon is killed
• Fixed issue that caused the cave opened by the Abyssal High Dragon to become closed again in certain circumstances
• Fixed issue where Shatter and Rupture combos woul be reported twice in multiplayer stats
• Fixed issue which could break the "Perseverance" quest in certain circumstances
• Improved stability
• Made change to prevent players salvaging items that are equipped by other character kits in multiplayer

That is it as far as fixes so odds are the rest is prerequisite to DLC.

Great. I just downloaded the update containing the storage chest last night (with great difficulty, I may add, since my PS3 is an a** and the downloads keep getting disrupted) and now I find out that there's another update?  *faints*
