What's really irritating that my usual DA craving fill when I can't get my hands on Inquisition or what-have you is this forum. 

Since it's coming out tomorrow and I already saw the advertisement pictures, I'll just blacklist myself tomorrow.   I can't resist bear memes.

I'd like for the Pantheon to be more complicated than 'elf gods every gods'. Something along the lines of many different cultures trying to get a grasp on these bizarrely powerful 'spirits, or something we've never seen before'.

Avvar even has two elven ears in the name. Coincidence? I think not!

I doubt they'd make a dlc just to confirm what everyone expects though. I'm excited to find out there's a bit more to gods than we think concerning pantheon portrayal.

There is definitely some parallels between the Avvar Gods and the Elven Gods. (Or so my hyped-up brain tells me)

There's a bit of a parallel in this story with Elgar'nan's anger being soothed by Mythal, which brings me to...

which tells about a tribe that was thought to be carried to safety by eagles. Sounds a bit like Flemythal, yes?

 

Hakkon Wintersbreath sounds like Falon'din to me:

He's represented by frost and steel, and Avvar follow him into battle. Hakkon could be interpreted as a god of death in a way.

He's known as the "guardian of wisdom" to the Avvar. 'Nuff said. 

 

Imhar the Clever could only be our Fen'Harel

There's also an interesting story of him shouting an avalanche down on his enemies in order for him to escape

I've been thinking about this the whole evening.

 

The Guide (from the Emerald Graves) has been associated with Falon'Din (or at least the elves) and the statue also appears on the released screenshot, possibly being located near the Avvar tribe.

I am a weak weak woman. It seems to me a lore infested DLC but I don't know. There's no way I can stay away. Those bear memes are precious lol

In other news, the medieval Norse ice-skated. Some of the Vikings sagas mention. I now have the lovely image of giant, burly Avvar forming a skate team and having a bitter rivalry with the Golden Boys of Arlathan team, only to discover that they're funded by the same people, who just love ice-skating and being able to kick and slit someone's throat at the same time.

Heh "fenhead". I don't think I mind mid-story. Besides Solas, there are other things that I would love get answers for. Or maybe we gather some clues and the Inquisitor can start digging some of the egg's dirty secrets.
