Is this working for anyone? It's telling me "file not found". :c

Apparently there's proper dragonriding in Dragonborn, but I haven't got round to playing it yet. I have so many modded quests and NPCs and NPCs with modded quests that I keep forgetting about the offical DLC (and the main quest).
Hahaha I felt the same way. Was all... maaaaaan.
The dlc dragonborn did add some bits of dragonriding a but though.

Click on the little "play" icon under the banner, not on the banner itself.
(I did that too)

Rofl, yup this is also my problem, I've played part way through Dragonborn, I have 2 of three words I need to ride them but then I got distracted...

I did, but it gave me this:

Oh well, I'll just have to try when I'm not on my work computer, I suppose! Thank you for trying to help me. ![]()
Has anyone heard the interview yet? Anything interesting?

That sounds a lot like how I play Skyrim!

Do you have adblock or some such on? That could be the problem.
For anyone curious, Patrick couldn't answer any LI questions regarding Solas.
If anyone manages to listen to the interview, PLEASE update this thread with any tidbits or answers we get.
You know, for those of us still trapped at work for the next several hours who can't listen and are making sad faces at their computer monitors. ![]()

First off--no word on Solas romance. I figured that's would be the top thing we'd all wanna know, but PW said he hasn't been given clearance to talk about that, either yes or no. Let me get back and re-listen to it (a couple things about Cole and the Iron Bull, too) and get my thoughts in order.

It doesn't seem like there's much new information about Solas. He talked about his ability to explore the fade and how he sees things more in shades of grey, but it's kind of what we already knew. The LI question was asked, but he didn't have clearance to talk about it.

Yep, basically stuff about Solas we already knew. He talks about how he sees things more in shades of grey and is a character with the ability to shake up the player's view on the Dragon Age world. We got a nice rehash of Iron Bull's story (he seems, in my opinion, the most excited about Iron Bull which bodes well for the character!) and a little overview on Solas and, of course, he doesn't have clearance to answer the romance questions. Though he expressed that he was very sorry about that. Clearly he's seen the suffering ![]()
High level thoughts It was interesting but there was a lot of Iron Bull love and back story. Very little on Solas other than what we already know. And a bit on how it was to pick up writing Cole with the challenge of keeping him Cole yet growing the character. He referenced the writing Jack in ME3 but not in ME2 as a comparison.
My impression was that he was allowed to gush about Iron Bull, (and a bit of Sera and Dorien) but sounded less energetic when talking about Solas because he has to choose his words very carefully. He also compared him a bit to Mordin in that they help change your view on the world (potentially). Still worth a listen but I did cringe a bit at the YOLO party gushing (again).
I feel like Solas is the middle child of the Weekes bunch. Iron Bull is the "golden child" oldest that gets all the gushing praise and Cole is the baby that gets sort of an eggshell treatment between him being passed from another writer and all the drama that went around with his first thread getting locked and them just announcing he wouldn't be an LI to stop people from fighting about it. Solas seems to be the one that's just.. there.

Agreed. That's how I've taken it. Here's my little list of things I gleamed from the Interview:
To be fair, Iron Bull is the "fun" character. He's the one that'll probably get a lot of laughs so I can see why writing that type of character would gain them your favor and cause you to talk about them with a lot more passion. We also have much more information about Iron Bull's background than most of the other characters so Weekes was able to talk about him. They revealed a lot about him, now that I think about it.

Boy do I know that feeling, but I think that's why I'm finding him so interesting. Seeing that good and evil are subjective is such an attractive trait. To me at least.
Dude. I was in SD the weekend before the Con and I loved how cool it felt. I live in the desert where it is 106 degrees outside as we speak so when he said it was hot there, I was like "BRB, moving to Canada." lol
I'm actually listening to the whole interview right now but I have to pause because I have a haircut appointment I need to get to. I am almost finished with my first book and I am loving hearing about the whole answer on basically making the time to write and the difference with video game writing and book writing. Him and David are a big inspiration for me.
Anyway, I will return in a few to talk about dat Solas.

That's how I feel about Solas's outlook, also. From what we know of him, he seems like the character I can relate to the most when it comes to world view.
Mike Laidlaw's comment on Solas from the September issue of PC Gamer: "Solas is knowledgable, logical. He refuses to believe in bad and good... which makes him absolutely fascinating as a character."
Huh. Solas is totally me were I an elf, a mage, and male.
WE'RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS FOREVER YOU GUYS
FOREVER

Exactly. For me when it comes down to Mages v Templars I'm on the fence, because I can see both sides. If that's how Solas is, then he will fast become my favorite.
