I really enjoyed the hell out of Omega, but it's a siege, plain and simple. It's a fun siege, but it's not something people can't skip. I love Aria and I also loved Nyreen
Spoiler. It was nice having a party of badass ladies going through this siege together.
See, I thought I liked Aria until I played the DLC. She just annoyed me, Nyreen seemed like a waste of space for the very short time she appeared for, I was disappointed that I couldn't bring any of the usual team (if I can't bring Garrus then why am I even bothering!), even going at the slowest speed I was still completing it in a couple of hours, and the most disappointing part was that you couldn't return to Omega after. I was so hoping to have it as a place to go back to again. Eugh. Nope. I've played it twice and never touched it on any more of my ME3 runs. I'd have been better off just setting fire to my money. Would have enjoyed that more. Considering the Citadel DLC was the same price and provided me with so much of awesome, yeah, it just made Omega seem even worse.
I'm trying to think of something nice to say about it. Um.
Er.
No. I just hated it so much.
Leviathan and Citadel were freaking awesome though, and I'm someone who didn't get all furious about the ME3 ending either. But Omega spurs an anger that goes beyond understanding. It's right up there with Bethany Carver.
Maybe if I'd gotten it for a fiver I'd be more willing to accept it for what it is and be less like the people over in Scuttlebutt(spoilers) who are making comparison lists for what you can buy for $15.
Best thing about this was the redhead was fire. Lol
I didn't mind omega, but it was easily one of the more lackluster DLCs. Not being able to bring Garrus just made no sense to me. And then not even a callback to either him or Mordin. :[

Pff who needs Garrus when I can haz Aria
Loved that DLC. She was so boss.
Too fearful of spoiler to check the threads around. But, does anyone know if Solas appears in the DLC if you play after main story?
No. If he's already left, he doesn't show up.
they do exist.

Not boss enough to get Omega back without Shep doing all the heavy lifting. Pfft. Should have thrown her out the airlock and taken over Omega myself.

Well, if you know what you're getting into, it's more fun. I also read the Mass Effect: Invasion comics before I played so having that whole background on what happened on Omega and what Aria's response was set things up well.
My Shepard kind of annoyed Aria a little with her paragon ways, so there was a little tension, but it made me laugh. And no, she didn't get the kiss at the end.
I think, even when it comes to Jaws of Hakkon, loosely knowing what you're getting into, and having expectations that match up, totally help with enjoyment.
I didn't expect anything significant with Solas in the first DLC, and possibly not in the second (prove me wrong, DA team, please!) but this DLC has me excited anyway. New area, new stuff, new lore.
Inquisition totally re-energized me when it comes to lore and stuff.
If I could art, I would art nothing but paint-splattered Solas. Naked.
EDIT: Oh, it's TOP again. Erm...elven babies for everyone!

Always love when this illustration comes up. Always play red heads. *sigh* I'm so gonna head cannon this.

Yay. This shows used to scare the crap of me when I was little. Not as much as V ever did, but enough to have some nightmares.
7 year old Delphine was very impressionable, obviously.
(I don't know why, seeing human bodies being dismantled in anyway possible has never been an issue, but seeing an alien parasite taking control over people used to freak me out. It took me 20 years to watch Alien. And I still haven't watched X Files entirely to this day. But since Alien was okay, I guess I can try watching X Files again now, I'll be alright. I'M NOT SEVEN YEARS OLD ANYMORE.)
