Part of me is almost glad that Obsidian hasn't done romances in Pillars, though. I know Chris Avellone doesn't like writing the traditional BioWare-style romance, and on the occasions where Obsidian does do romances, they're deeply f***ed up.

EDIT: Poking fun at Solas aside, this DLC has helped remind me of why I like him so much as a character. He hasn't said a ton of stuff so far, but every time he does, I just sit there going, "TELL ME MORE FASCINATING THINGS HAHREN"

Yep. Solas has a bunch of incidental lines. Mostly relating to spirits.

Again, summary of my life for the last few months
Like the disgustingly fluffy dad!Solas headcanons that have been invading my brain. For the record, I'm not sure he'd be the best dad. I think he'd have some trouble with kid #1, at the very least. But I can't get this stupid fluff out of my head until it goes on paper, and then I basically become shame.
You know, Inquisitor Ameridan's story has a lot in common with Inquisitor's Lavellan story, especially if Lavellan is female and a mage.
If those 2 conditions are true, then both Ameridan and Lavellan were Inquisitors, trying to restore order to the world and maintain peace. They both had a party compromising of a dwarf rogue who used explosives (Varric as Artificer) and a human warrior who use Templar like powers (Cassandra, even though she does not use lyrium). They both fell in love with Elven mage dreamers, one being Telana and the other being Solas.
Here's hoping our Inquisitor does not end up trapped in time fighting a dragon for nearly 8 centuries.
