There has to be like... one artist at Bioware who really enjoys silly hats, and every time any other artist is like, "okay, but do we need another silly hat?", just pulls their rank card and insists on more silly hats. What is this. What's happening.

 

The hellspiral hooks its claws in deep and doesn't like to let go. 

 

It's like an adorable little leech. Wait no, leeches have analgesic properties to their spit, which would mean we wouldn't feel the pain. That doesn't sound like the hellspiral we all know and love. Like the disgustingly fluffy dad!Solas headcanons that have been invading my brain.  For the record, I'm not sure he'd be the best dad.  I think he'd have some trouble with kid #1, at the very least.  But I can't get this stupid fluff out of my head until it goes on paper, and then I basically become shame.

Well atleast it isn't the Solas DLC (which I'm entirely convinced there will be one since:

That is one thing that I just can't get with in terms of headcanons. I mean, the ones I've seen are usually sweet and all but it just doesn't feel quite in character to me.

 

 

But fluffy moments from Solavellan's days together....bring them on. I keep focusing on headcanoning around things and scenes we have so that's where I've been lately.

 

And reading things that cause the feels to wash right over me again.

I can't remember if I ever put my Abelas smut in vhenantrash or if I was too ashamed. I'm going to go with "I was probably too ashamed."

My issue with preggo fics, is that they become the relationships "Final form". Pregnancy is nice and families are nice but what I want is Lavellan and Solas to go on Indiana Jones adventures!  Finally, for the first time in his life he's free to explore without the burden of purpose.  Wisdom for wisdom's sake. Then they get old and die.  THE END. 

 

NO OFFENSE SABLE. THEY BE CUTE.  But...indiana jones adventures. cute times post angst.

I'm also more on the Lavellan and Solas go on super fun exploring times and possibly Solas wears a fedora until Lavellan is like "oh my god please stop no one looks good in a fedora."

I've thought about what Solas would be like as a dad before and came to the conclusion that it'd be a rough road. I can imagine him not thinking he'd be a good one and trying to separate himself (he's good at that). In the scope of the actual game, he's Mr. I Have A Path I Must Walk Alone, after all. Can you imagine how badly he'd take it if he found out Lavellan was pregnant? I seriously doubt it'd be a fluffy moment! Which is probably why I've seen a few fics that use a baby as a device to make a postgame Solas feel like crap. I was never into the "using a child as a plot device to guilt someone" thing. It comes up more often in fandom than you'd think.

I just finished mass effect (bought them couple of weeks ago, finished all three in one sleepless week  ), these icons make me feel so accomplished (esp since I've done everything 100% + most DLCs), too bad my DAO and DA2 games aren't linked to this account, it could've been wonderful.

 

And yes, emporium, I've held off my last PT for months now because I wanted to change her nose haha

 

The chance of them adding haircuts is slim though, right?

Since we've engaged hellspiral mode today, I would like to add a song that that popped on my phone when I had it on shuffle the day after the breakup™ and Solas' departure end-game. I was so feelsy and sensitive and it nearly made me cry. It's by OK Go, though it's different than most of the band's typical songs. It hurts me so so good.

I have two accounts as well because when EA took over, existing BioWare accounts/BSN logins were turned into Origin accounts and they can't merge them. Many of my games are on one account while I've stuck all my BioWare games on the same account (this one) for consistency.
