I really love this. Sometimes I wonder if Solas' outfit in the romance card is actually his god garb. Looks pretty fancy. 

 

Also, off-topic, but these little icons under my avatar... A wee bit distracting. xD Though I seem to be missing the icon for Mass Effect 1.

So I think he'd paint an area she loved and had shared with him in the Fade.

 

I thought about that, but it doesn't quite work for story purposes. I think I'll stick with what I have for now. I can always rewrite it later.

They suddenly appeared, and I think a few people are missing ME1. It was quiet under there, and then suddenly I had two rows.

Likely. The original also didn't release for PS3 until the trilogy came out. I figured that might explain some omissions. I know some people first played the series with 2.

There also used to be a place on the old BSN where you could register your games via codes and it would just have all the unlocked things under your account. So this kind of worked before to keep everything in one place and for people not logged in while playing, etc.

 

I'm pretty sure my forums profile date is recent but this account is about 6 years old and the one I had all my old BSN data on, so I'm presuming that's why it all showed up here.

Popping in here after religiously avoiding the thread until after I completed the game. So I had just completed my first (and most probably canon) playthrough with a Solas romance and I must say his romance was hot, dramatic and absolutely heartbreaking! I loved every minute of it!

 

At first, I didn't know who to go for. I narrowed it down to Bull, Cullen and Solas, then to Cullen and Solas. And finally, our favorite elf. (I'm the kind of person who tries all the romances and then reloads again. Didn't really get far with the others, but the farthest was probably Cullen's).

 

I knew he would break my heart from the start (I spoiled myself by reading the forums by accident) but I didn't know how, when and why. So when I finally got to the final cutscene (which was so darn sweet!), I was STILL caught by surprise by the unexpected breakup. I spent the whole day at work thinking about that scene, dammit!

 

And he promised to explain if we both lived after defeating Corypheus! Arrgghhh. I want my Wolf Hunt DLC!

 

Sorry for that. I just needed to get it out. I went to my quarters after the epilogue hoping to get a letter from him. No dice. And the codex said he was really gone. Dammit!

 

I'm gonna replay later and drink from the well myself and finish the game to see what happens differently.

 

EDIT: My only consolation is that I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing more of him. He's DAI's version of Morrigan, I guess. At least he's not some minor character swept under the rug.
