My Lavellan was very sad at the end of it all, she wanted to talk to Ameridan some more so badly because he might understand her better than anyone else.

... There is dialoge it it is done pre-breakup? Well, off to replay the whole thing again I suppose.

 

Sorry, just to be clear about Solas's dialogue:

There is no specific romance dialogue for him, at least not that I've noticed.  I just happened to use the pre-Mythal save in case there was.  He does have plenty to say about spirits, the ruins, etc.  But nothing for the romance.

 

And yes, my Lavellan wished she could spend more time with Ameridan.  It's very lonely at the top, and I think he might have been the only person in Thedas (apart from Cole and his unique powers) who could really empathize with what she was going through.  Still, at least he got to see a friendly face at the end, and know his sacrifice wasn't for naught.

Just finished Jaws of Hakkon. I played it in my save after the last Solas romance scene, but before beating Coryphyfish. Spoilers.

It was very depressing to be wandering around with Solas, hearing all about the original Inquisitor and the love of his life. And then to be told "make sure to hold on to what happiness you can find."

Would have been fun to see Lavellan watch Solas while she is being told to "hold onto what happiness you can find" and reply "Yeah, that ship has sailed, but thanks".

Ignore them! You know what's the best thing about those haters? That hate is such a negative emotion and it comes back to them and them alone. If you ignore them and carry on with your positive feelings, then who's left with all the negativity? Hate and distaste never make your life better. Everybody should just indulge himself in negative feelings as much as s/he wants. While s/he's running around with a frown and all the negative facial feedback flushes his brain, the glitter people will smile and dance through the rain in their happy fluffy starshine world. Maybe I'm just getting too old for all the antagonistic humbug, but I clearly see a winner in the matter.

I am fairly sure that Solas also understands what it's like to be at the top, unfortunately since he's just posing as elven apostate, he can't come out directly and tell you this, however, it might be one of the prominent features in the Sollavellan relationship.

I'm sure she meant dislikes highly. Nothing wrong with that. Come now, I'm sure we're familiar with how hate is thrown around casually.

 

She was trying so hard to be impressive, then turns out she screwed up massively, and of course it isn't pleasing to me that Varric is stuck on such a lame woman he can't even be with. No one likes to see that happen to a friend. So on Varric's behalf, I'm obligated to dislike her since he's incapable of doing so due to sentimentality.

 

Which I don't blame him for of course. Feelings are a tricky thing.

Ah, thanks for the confirmation. I'd imagine a Wolf Hunt DLC would involve Cole, as well, since he seems to be the only one able to track Solas down.

Well I don't hate her like I hate Hitler or anything, but I think Bianca is a user. She uses Varric as her crutch, stringing him along when she knows he's in love with her. Varric is not without blame though. They both use each other and it's, much more destructive and damaging than Bull and Dorian will ever be.
