Love that Qunari/Solas art!

 

He seems like the kind of man I typically go for which is one that I can have a deep, meaningful conversation with. I feel like I get more aroused at mental exchanges rather than physical. I also like a guy that makes me laugh and Patrick did say that he had a subtle wit (you may not know you were insulted by him until hours later)

No plans for release day here other than downloading the game and hopefully getting a few uninterrupted hours with it.

 

4am to 6am here, too.  I'm usually up around four though, so it's not too bad.

As far as release day goes, I have no plans ahead. Once I get my grubby hands on it I'mma be a squeeing bundle of nuts, I'm sure. It's a great thing the Kittens are so interested in it, they'll probably want to be there when I open it and at least while I play with the CC. I'll probably let them goof with the CC too. But I'll have to ask a friend if the beginning of the game is safe for them to watch before I venture into the actual game with them watching. Prior to this, I made special saves to show them things.

 

They loved Merril telling Dog a story at Hawke's place, etc. (They got to see all the Dog visitations.)

 

But I probably won't get to get in the game until they are tucked into bed. But having waited years I'm sure I'll survive a few hours...right? Right? XD

 Aw, that's cute! The Dog visitations are adorable. My boys will probably park it on the couch and watch me when they get home. My youngest gets very excited about the combat. I get lots of cheering and extra sound effects. My daughter will tease me for being a ridiculous fangirl and then go upstairs to be ridiculous about her own fandom in her cave room.

 

I know what you mean about surviving a few more hours at that point. I really hope I don't freak out the UPS guy when he notices my face smashed against the sidelight, staring at him while I will him to drop the box and run away so I can have the Precious.

I think I'll beg my mom to let me sleep like normal and then set an alarm to wake up for that time, watch the livestream and die and report the news to my friends, and then go back to sleep. Not sure if she'll let me but Gamescom is so big and I don't think I can afford to not personally watch it.

I think I'm in the 4am bracket as well, which is a big Nope. I tend to stay up late, but even I try to be to bed LONG before then. (Okay so, I usually try for 1am and end up somewhere between 2 and 3am...) I'll just wake up and check things, unless life intervenes and I end up awake at that time for some damnable reason.

3AM to 5AM for me. It's really not worth it for me to wake up then, because I have a history of not being able to rouse myself early even with six different alarms. Also, anxiety will keep me up, so I'm staying up all night for it.
 
Also, I got bored and began to play around with a doll maker. I don't know who this Inquisitor is, besides that she's a snarky Dalish archer, but she's who my fingers created.

I think this might be the first event that's come up all year that'll be at a reasonable time for me. It'll start at 8pm (NZ). I'll probably watch it and take down notes for everyone (lots of other people probably will too!), as long as something else doesn't come up to stop me from doing so.

So this is totally off topic but I just remembered and had to share. Earlier tonight as my boyfriend's daughter was getting ready for bed I noticed this huge rainbow outside - super trippy looking because the sun was setting at the time. Anyway I called her over to see, and after oohing and aahing in excitement, she turned to me and said, very seriously, "that's where the unicorns live." I was like, "YES. YES THEY DO." And we shared a fist bump and I totally thought of you guys!

Man, I just realized this holiday season is going to suck. There I'll be, dealing with irate customers, and cleaning up after them, and making sure the store looks good, and making sure my peeps stay motivated, thinking, 'you know, I could be playing Dragon Age.' Though I suppose it'll make the time I do have to play that much sweeter... Trying to look at the bright side?

I have a mighty need for this game and Solas. I'll likely spend two ours creating my first inquisitor, then spend the next five running around the game world in search of the bog unicorn (whom I shall name Imhotep) and Solas.

Oh my gosh this sounds incredibly likely for me too, hahah.
I can't even IMAGINE how long I'll be in CC I still spend hours in Origins to this day and I've played it so many times.
In my case it'll be the Red Hart Halla, though. I'VE WANTED TO RIDE A HALLA SINCE ORIGINS. I AM OBSESSED. THEY ARE SO CUTE. I LOVE THEM.

Upon hearing that was a thing in Inquisition I maaaaay have screamed and thrown mail into the air like confetti. Just maaaaaybe.

i went digital because... i don't like the leave the house, heh. and it's hard for me. i've ALWAYS wanted to do a midnight release, but... people! CROWDS? even imagining it for one second is terrifying. but i am so jealous of those who can go. I WILL LIVE VICARIOUSLY THOUGH YOU, DR.

I went to a midnight release once (for ME3) and there were like 50 guys and only 3 girls including me and the other two were together and came dressed in sweats/ratty hair (probably pjs or something) matching most of the guys there and I was still dressed from the day all girly frou frou and stuck out like a sore thumb. Add to that half those guys acting like they'd never seen a woman before and staring at my boobs. It was soooooo uncomfortable and I would never do it again. I've bought games at midnight from Walmart and there were few people and it wasn't any kind of event so I might do that but I'd rather order online or do digital.

My daughter's fandom is, alas, a boy band. 5SOS. She's loved them since they started on Youtube, and now they're kind of a big deal and I got dragged to a concert and was almost trampled by a horde of shrieking teenage girls and LET ME JUST TELL YOU ABOUT HOW I HATE GENERAL ADMISSION CONCERTS. But I won't because it's really just me swearing and throwing things. When I took her to see Muse (MY pick), we had seats. Good, real, actual seats. Crowds make me stabby. But yeah, she's all kinds of involved in the fandom. She's 14. I...try not to judge. My taste wasn't stellar at that point either. 

 

The idea of my avvie smashing her face against the window made me laugh! Now I kind of want to actively try to freak out the UPS man...
