Changed my avatar from my Shepard to my Inquisitor, Coria Lavellan. Coria is great, I tell you !
Since Jaws of Hakkon will be released for XBox360, PS3 & PS4 in May, does that means any announcement about a new DLC will not come before May?
Hadn't they said, in a recent interview, that they wanted to expand on the epilogue scene "sooner than later"? (or sth like that??)

I don't know. I once made a male sim, made him have relationships with all of the women in town, they all had babies from him.
Then I killed him by fire, brought him back from the dead as a playable ghost, married him to a mortal woman, and made them have three children. Two of these children were born as ghosts.
Then I couldn't do much more, cause the town was basically the most incestuous inbred town ever, and I got bored.
Oh, and of course, I let some other sims die in various fashion, cause I wanted a rad cemetery full of colored ghosts. Ghosts are the best.
This is very off topic, but that .gif is making me so, so sad. The poor kitten probably has a severe ear mite infestation. ![]()

In real life, I don't kill anything if I can avoid it. Spiders, houseflies, bugs, slugs or worms on sidewalks, whatever. Catch and release. Move to a safe spot. If you're not hurting me, I will not hurt you, little buddies. We're all just trying to do our thang.
However, I often delight in being a murderous lunatic in virtual environments.
On topic: Solas knows killing is unfortunate, but he can't seem to get enough of those Fade battles...
My desire to murder all my sims shot down when I modded TS2 a little bit to make them a little smarter.

My weird quirk like this is taking cash rewards off NPCs I know are poor. It makes me feel so, so, so bad. I drop loot items I don't want anymore in their homes because I figure they can sell them. I RP that hard. Or I'm just slightly nuts. Either way.
Skyrim was the first Bethesda game that I really got into. I was playing a sneaky character and tried to take everything that wasn't nailed down at first. That lasted all of five minutes when I got to the unfortunate farmers caught in the middle of the civil war. Then I had to ask myself, "Do I REALLY need 100 pounds of these poor people's cheese?"
I am generally an unrepentant kleptomaniac in video games, though. My boyfriend had to stop playing Divinity: Original Sin with me because I wouldn't stop pilfering stuff from people.

Umm... yes.
But I do generally only try and rob from rich people. And I have a strict 'no killing' rule. And sometimes I steal food and reverse pickpocket it into the pockets of beggars.

She struck me as a manx; tall back legs and all. But at any rate, she certainly doesn't look healthy, that's for sure. Her belly looks bloated with worms, too. u_u

I think I remember seeing this kitty on reddit. It has a neurological disorder, but I think is otherwise healthy and not in pain.

I went back to Maeven Black-Briar's house twice so that I could swipe the place clean. I hated her so, so much. Almost enough to make me stop RPing the character and side with the Stormcloaks just so she wouldn't be Jarl.
But I took consolation in that fact that her house was completely empty. And I stole Frost. And I took over the Thieves' Guild and destroyed the Brotherhood. Jarl that, biznatch.

I am the goodiest of two shoes in BW games but for whatever reason I am the worst kind of monster in Fallout/Obsidian games. Just the worst. I will kill anyone. Indiscriminately.

She's fine, well, better than she was before finding a home in a refuge. She has an awesome dog friend, and they're hella cute together. And her bobbing head is from a neurological disorder.
Ralphee was a stray who was taken in from a horse stable. She has a neurological disorder, which makes head control and coordination a little difficult. Ralphee isn’t in pain and is in fact very playful and active. The tail is missing as Ralphee has Manx genes and this breed is known for their stub like tails. Ralphee has been to a vet to be checked out and is doing fine. The head wobbles seem to have improved somewhat since this video was filmed. It won’t ever disappear but cats with neurological disorders can adapt and live, long happy lives like other cats. Ralphee's outdoor play sessions are done under supervision from the owners. Max is an adopted cattle dog who use to be fearful of males but has since improved greatly. These days he's an incredibly loyal and sweet dog. He takes a genuine interest in Ralphee during their time together outside.

Ah, that's lovely. Gives me the warm fuzzy feels which were drifting away with all this talk of racist Solas and the "why can't Bioware have sexy woman as LI's in Inquisition instead of these manly ones" conversation going on over the suggestions thread.
Also I'm now watching David Mitchell on youtube (who if you have never heard of him, he's a very dry, funny and pedantic British comedian who I absolutely adore) which has me grinning like a fool. Nice.

I feel you 100%. I decided to take home a box of flea-infested, unweaned, starving kittens in my tiny apartment. With my own cat. While unemployed. Needless to say, there was much facepalming from my boyfriend and landlord.
That experience put me off the idea of kids for quite a while, but I'm still glad I did it ![]()

The first time I met Maeven she did her usual threat about the Dark Brotherhood.
Ummm, Maeven? You mean that organisation I killed, soul trapped, and now use to power my weapons?
Stealing Frost but talking to Baenjolf about it first is great. He tells you to go for it. (just don't expect the guild's backup if things go wrong).

It's ok, I was concerned too the first time I saw this gif, to the point I looked for the original video and... kinda fell for her, she's so damn cute.
Here, 16 minutes of Max (The Dog) and Ralphee (The cat), including footages shot six months after the first video (to see her all grown up!).

Anyone wonder what the Inquisitor's Anchor scar looks like?
I think it would resemble the foci.
Maybe like this? (ignore the face and horrible rendering):
SpoilerI really wish they would have included the anchor marking on the ingame model.
I thought about this earlier...I always imagined a sort of scar, or burn. But I like the idea of having the foci pattern imprinted on the hand ![]()

I actually have no clear opinion if he is "racist" or really simply a "misanthrope". I even tend to think the latter because he simply dislikes everybody. He's basically just arrogant. For me racism is "thinking somebody is worth less just because of his heritage". That's like sexism ("thinking somebody is worth less because of the gender") and all other discrimination to me -- it's all wrong.
I think, if I read that correctly, apologies if I misunderstand, that that is exactly what I mean. I think I was compelled to argue against it in his case not because I find it acceptable, but because I find it entirely unacceptable... I have lived with and worked for too many people who judge people's worth this way to have anything but a nod to writers for making a complicated character who is the same - not an actual like for them at all, regardless of their experiences. Not to freak-out levels, because it's a story - but not a fan. It doesn't make it not the case, though. Words get in the way, here - I don't mean to imply it's acceptable to others here in real life, I just don't find it attractive even in fiction. I don't know.
"It's important to me that my favorite characters hate everyone, not just some people!" "Wait, what?" "Err... that is weird, now that you point it out."
On the Skyrim children note, the first time I added the one that gives children different clothing and faces and such, I got the all-children-in-their-underwear bug that was disturbing. The first kid I ran into was Lars, though, and I was thinking he'd just failed to give Braith his lunch money.

*animal rescuer high-five* My sister and I once staked out a roadside for many hours where a semi-feral cat and her kittens were spotted. We and a few others eventually caught them all, fixed them up (mites, fleas, worms, vaccinations) and fostered the kittens until they found appropriate homes through a local feral cat rescue group.
We understand each other. It's so rewarding.
