Morning, friends! I made a dumb comic...
Feel the feelings.

Working on part 2 today. *turns on angsty music* That should help...

(It's lovely, btw)
I don't even know what I'm doing anymore.
Spoiler

Edit: SOURCE THAT, I must share it to anyone who'll listen! ![]()
I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I halp.

You captured his likeness perfectly!!
I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I halp.

YAY! More MoonDrummer art!

While your Lavellan has some great boobs I'm more drawn to the man hiding in the bushes...
You know, if you haven't mentioned that, I wouldn't have noticed. xD
I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I halp.
Spoiler
Is that Oghren??
How dare you.
You come into my house.
You give me feels.
Is that Oghren??
God, I hope so. I can feel his beard aura from here. And.. and he's shirtless, perfect... Is that a look of hungry lust in his eyes? There are so many layers at work here, I don't even know where to begin...

I hope it is too. Now I wished he was in game. It really would have offset the tragedy of the romance if Oghren was peeking out of the bushes in the FireSwamp. Or pretty much in every cutscene in the game. He slowly peeks out from behind a pillar with a dippy smile on his face, and then retreats back into the shadows.
That's how I tend to treat Mary Sue tests anyway. They're handy, and can give good guidelines but a lot of things can throw off an accurate score and they can't account for everything in every setting and every fandom. Tropes aren't bad - it's all in how you write the character that matters.
Yeah...if you've ever tried to put other fictional characters into a Mary Sue test, they can get ridiculously high scores. Dream of the Endless comes to mind as the highest score I've ever seen. Something absurd like 90-ish.
Of course, most of us can only bow before the mad genius that is Neil Gaiman. So there's that. I'm sure if I tried to write Dream, it would be an unmitigated disaster ![]()

You don't use colour in your art very often so when you do it's always striking. I love the way you use the colour in the piece to reflect each character.

You're a Sandman fan?
*insert 'come here and let me love you' gif*
Edward Elric is another character who always scores highly in these tests (unusal and unique eye colour? Check. Last member of a lost civilisation? Check (aside from his dad and brother). A genius who passed tests that would stump most adults? Check.) Yet he's a really well written and well rounded protagonist.

Fullmetal Alchemist is brilliant. 11/10 still one of my all-time favorite things period. Brotherhood is the best to me, but I still adored the original. The characters, oh my goodness. Fullmetal Alchemist's cast set the bar extremely high for me concerning well-developed and engaging characters. I love how just real Ed is. That's one of the best things about the show to me, honestly. The nitty-gritty raw humanity of it all.
This will likely make me appear to be a far and beyond insane fangirl, but I actually want to name my first son (when/if I have one) Edward after Edward Elric. Of course, it's more fantasizing than anything right now. I don't want kids for some time yet, not to mention, you know, the fact I'm single. But a girl can dream. I don't claim to be a fangirl for no reason.
Any-hoo. There's a random fact about me for the day. Let's hope I can still hold claims to perfectly healthy sanity after this admission.

EDIT: Oh! Top post! Um.... art...
Possibly NSFW because female nipples.

I am a huge, HUGE fan of the manga and the Brotherhood anime (which I guess is pretty obvious from my icon...) I have this whole comparison between Solas and Hohenhiem worked out that I really should share here at some point.
And I could fangirl for hours about the characters in FMA. It's got a huge cast that are not only unique in looks, but also personality.
Olivia Mira Armstrong would make an amazing Inquisitor. She'd just stare at the Breech and it would close itself in terror.
I've only watched the original and loved it (even though I started on translated manga scans) but I guess Brotherhood felt like too much of a retread initially that I never quite got into it. I might have to give it another shot.
But I'd love to see that comparison sometime.

All of the characters in that show are fab. The character development is so incredible I actually feel jealous when I watch it.
(this is seriously making me want to go back and rewatch the series. so many feelings!!!!)
And that comparison is definitely something I would be interested in hearing about. haha.

I have a mighty need to read this comparison. You must share at some point.
She would. She definitely would. And I, like a dork, would probably have a fit of giggles because it would be just that scary and hysterical.
All right. I'll leave this here in hope that I didn't do a total flop, and see what everyone thinks. I'm really, really praying I didn't go OOC with the characters.

This is the first of an unknown amount of oneshot-drabble-headcanons I'm progressively writing. It's slow, because I honestly hesitate and pick apart my work until I deem it acceptable. Even then, I'm well aware there is a ton room for improvement. But I am trying, and that's a good thing, I think. The fact alone that I'm writing is good for improvement. Furthermore, getting my headcanons out in the open is both delightful and therapeutic.
Solas is featured, which goes without saying, and Cassandra and Varric make appearances. Of course, the remainder of characters will gradually make appearances as well.
Welp, I could ramble more, but it's basically already been said in my little author's note, so I shall hush.
We were talking about Mary Sues earlier, and someone showed me this:
EDIT: I just took this test and it's surprisingly good for any character you are working on, Mary Sue or otherwise.
Awesome test, my character might still have hope. The emotional part is not correct but the questions didn´t have suitable question for it.
Caius is only a little like you. He isn't really very cool: he blends into crowds, he hangs out on the fringes at parties, and wearing shades after dark makes him run into things. He'd have to be pretty dense to miss the signs that he is destined for great things; he can hardly take a walk without tripping over a sword in a stone or a mysterious old woman wanting to tell his fortune. He's got no emotional scars to speak of. And you've been sparing with the free handouts: whatever he gains, he's worked for.
You may have let yourself get a little too close to Caius. Maybe he's you as you wish you were, or maybe you're just afraid no one will like him and are trying to give him a free ride. Have some confidence in your writing! Caius is a good character. Give him room to be himself before you stifle him.
Score Breakdown
Mirror, Mirror: I Love Him, I Let Him Go 7
Beware the Monks of Cool: You Mean Plaid Is Out? 9
'Tis Your Destiny: Stars For His Eyes
Oh, the Trauma: Healthy as a Horse 0
Momma Loves Me Best: Spare the Rod and Spoil the Child 4
Total: 42
