Speaking of writing, how is it that so many ideas keep coming when you're trying to slowly rework and add to one small thing? I've been reworking a Solavellan one-shot (kind of a framed bit of nostalgia about my Lavellan's first love years ago on a night where something similar happens and she's with Solas) that has also gotten longer than I figured.
I'm trying to write small signs of teenage elves falling for one another in a compact little thing. I am not a stranger to reading about teens but I feel like it's all awkward and not always shown well enough. Plus I'm trying to keep it relatively short.
Since we were speaking of playthroughs - I currently have a Cullenmancing Trev, a Sera (or Josie)mancing Adaar and my baby m!Lavellan on the go (I'm only 10 minutes in and I already love the guy and feel terrible for giving him my most depressing worldstate, even if it is the only one where Loghain lives). My f!Cadash is on hold until we get confirmation about whether or Harding is even becoming a full LI and I still haven't come up with a character for Cass (she was going to get my m!Lavellan, but I'm now going Dorian/Lavellan because Tevinter mage/elven apostate is too tempting to pass up). But when I find a character that is my canon I tend to play that at the expense of other playthroughs. I used to feel like I was playing it wrong, but now I just shrug and say 'I'll do what I want'.

Same. I pretty much never play RPGs as a man if I can help it (and by 'pretty much' I mean… just plain never). But I couldn't resist Dorian. He's too good a character. And also my M!Lavellan is an adorable little fluff bunny, much friendlier than my F!Lavellan.
I couldn't totally let go of being an elf though...

I think you could have positioned them differently, but maybe that's a more personal opinion than a critique!

If I tried to write smut, I think heads would explode from how bad it would be.
That said, it can really make a difference when you leave something alone for hours and then realize it's actually coming along better than you thought.

I don't understand, why so many of the same FEMALE ELF playthrough. There are other great characters like dorian or cassandra that you can learn about from romancing them. Are you barring yourself because you couldn't imagine yourself embodying a male character?

I don't understand, why does it matter who or what I play? And they're not the SAME ... I play different classes, I make different choices. Race and gender aside, that alone makes the playthrough different. And I can't appreciate and enjoy characters just as much without romancing them? To be honest, a lot of times the friendship path with a particular character means more to me than the romance path.
And I'm not barring myself from anything. I'm not sitting here telling myself, no I can't play a male character because I'm not a guy. And I have played male characters before. In DAI though, I prefer playing as a female.
Also, hope I'm not coming across as sounding offended or anything, I'm not. Just explaining. 
Edit: I should also say I use different world states. The changes do tend to be minimal, except for who the warden is that goes with you into the fade but they're there.
If a game offers me the chance to play as a woman, I will 99% of the time. Many games don't even give you that. It feels odd to not take it. That said, I've considered playing this one as a man someday but then it would be hard to choose between Cassandra and Dorian. I love them both. Though if Cassandra had been open to ladies, perhaps I might have been saved from this elven hellspiral......okay, maybe not. 
Solasmancing aside, I'm just impressed you've managed to complete 9-10 playthroughs. O_O I've only managed to finish two, and am <10hrs into all my others. Unless you just meant you'd played them as in you created them, and are at various stages of their playthroughs?
Either way, colour me impressed. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to go through the Solas romance with a different Lavellan, given how attached I've become to my Tala and her relationship with Solas. I have this knee-jerk reaction telling me it'd be a huge emotional betrayal. It's ridiculous.

Ok, I'm thinking ... I have 4 playthroughs I completed and kept the character, 2 playthroughs I have sitting before the temple of Mythal (for any DLC that can be played pre-end game), 2 playthroughs I completed and deleted the character and 3 playthroughs I never completed and just deleted.
I'm not really sure I'd be impressed. I have a lot of time on my hands and gaming is my hobby. And I'd been waiting for a single player RPG that I enjoyed for awhile. So I played the hell out of DAI when it came out.
Truthfully, I haven't finished my Male Inquisitor yet either XD I want to finish my current Solavellan playthrough first, because otherwise I get all confused and my characters seem like they have Dissociative Identity Disorder or something.
Yeah, I have to finish one and then do another. If I try to run 2 games at the same time I start to get confused about what I've done ... did I kill this dragon? I think so, no wait that was the other game! etc.
If I do another playthrough, I think I'll do a qunari one. But... I honestly don't think I have the stamina at this point.

I did just about everything on one playthrough. Any others will be significantly less completionist. I have the JoH astrariums and the collecting of more mosaic pieces left, I think. My second character, my mage, is just hanging out in Haven, but I plan a much more casual run for her.
